Bengaluru, 5 September 2020: On Teacher’s Day, Edu-Warriors undertaking Digital Transformation & Holistic Learning program to make school teachers future-ready were celebrated at the first-of-its-kind Knowledge L’avenir Conclave webinars by Mr. Ali Sait of Tech Avant-Garde (TAG), in association with Microsoft, Knowledge Key Foundation, Lycee Corp, Efeeonline and Roshini Social Schooling. Over the next 12 weeks (till November 2020), 3,000 teachers will exhibit their Digital Teaching Skills and over 150,000 teachers from over 72,000 schools across India with a student-teacher population of 76 million (7.6 crore) will get inspired to make the Digital Transformation. This grand education showcase is part of Mr. Sait’s vision to transform 18 lakh schools in India from four walls of the classroom to Connected Learning Community after the announcement of the National Education Policy (NEP).
The keynote speakers (edu–warriors) for I TOUCH THE FUTURE… i teach L’avenir Knowledge Conclave (LAC) Curtain Raiser moderated by Mr. Ali Sait (CEO, TAG), were: Mr. Kulbhushan Sharma (President, NISA), Mr. Vincent KV (Secretary, ASISC), Dr. Vinnie Jauhari (Director-Education and Industry Expert, Microsoft), Dr. Dakshayini Kanna (Director, Principal, Harvest International School), Ms. Vandana Baik (R&D and Innovation, Dir. Of Higher Education, Goa), Ms. Sonia Garcha (CSpathshala), Ms. Roshini Kumar (Chief Patron, Roshni, Social Schooling) and Ms. Praveen Rai (COO, NPCI) along with several school principals and teachers from all parts of the country.
Dr. Vinnie Jauhari (Director-Education and Industry Expert, Microsoft)
In her opening remarks, Dr. Vinnie Jauhari (Director-Education and Industry Expert, Microsoft) quoted world-famous personalities such as Nobel laureate and education activist Malala Yousafzai who said, “They cannot stop me. I will get my education, if it is in the home, school or any place” and Microsoft’s global CEO Satya Nadella who said, “As COVID-19 impacts every aspect of our work and life, we have seen two years’ worth of digital transformation in two months Microsoft Education transformation framework Leadership & Policy, Teaching & Learning, Intelligent Empowerment, and Student and School Success.”
Ali Sait, CEO, Tech Avant-Garde
Ali Sait, CEO, Tech Avant-Garde, said, “The Government’s National Education Policy has given a boost to making India a world leader in digitally imparted school education by 2020 – the 75th platinum jubilee year of Indian independence. NEP will also help ed-tech companies to raise funds required for transforming 18 lakh schools across India. In fact, academicians and ed-tech players are very happy that NEP follows the UNESCO model of 21st century-ready classrooms and digital devices as textbooks. The ideas of Open Schools, Cluster Public-Private Schools to take digital learning to underprivileged and remote students; and spending on digitization instead of brick and mortar classrooms are revolutionary. If implemented in the right spirit, then India will become a global leader in education.” The Indian education industry has crossed the USD 100 billion mark (Rs. 7.5 lakh crore) while the ed-tech industry is expected to cross USD 3.5 bn by 2020.
“The transformation and adoption of digital teaching and learning have been the fastest in 2020 – 3 to 4 times faster than those witnessed in the last few years. We believe that Microsoft has the mother of all content and if every teacher is empowered as a content creator, then the whole school is transformed. Teachers well versed in digital teaching can transform Government schools and this will help students/teachers in remote areas. Eventually, the students will drive the change and can be part of the class of digitally trained teachers even if they are not in a class,” says Ali Sait. But it’s a long journey as they have touched only the tip of the iceberg – 72,000 schools out of 4 lakh private sector schools and 14 lakh Govt. schools.
Ali Sait also says that each class needs Rs. 10 lakh to be digitally transformed. “The Government has announced bold steps in NEP with emerging tech-driven ideas such as Skype in Classroom and Virtual field trips instead of the traditional ‘chalk and talk’. As home schools become the new normal, Cognitive learning, Mixed Reality, Immersive Learning, IoT and AR-VR will eventually reach students at home. Public-private partnership is the way forward where the private sector helps by investing a million to transform each class. Poor bandwidth related problems can be tackled the way it is done in Africa – internet through SIM cards,” says Ali Sait.
Under the above program, teachers have been trained in Gen Extra Muros – Knowledge Beyond Walls pedagogy. The teachers who are trained under this program are “Future Ready”. They are eligible to take part in Knowledge L’avenir Conclave to display their digital teaching skills. Each Knowledge L’avenir Conclave webinar will be a one-day event; in which teachers from one school will present topics of their choice, using technology-based teaching tools. In every webinar, an average of 20 teachers from 1,000 schools will get an invitation to attend and witness this digital teaching extravaganza. The attendees will get insight on digital teaching and would get inspired to enhance their teaching skills. Knowledge L’avenir Conclave participation is only by invitation – each invited school is allowed to enroll teachers to make a presentation in the webinar to exhibit their digital teaching skills.
Ali Sait’s dream of a Connected Learning Community is a simple yet powerful idea with even more relevance today than when he first introduced the concept in the year 2002. His vision is that the world is an enriched learning environment in which technology used well enhances and expands opportunities for learning while providing the practical technology experience needed in today’s society and workplaces. In the Connected Learning Community: Students, educators, and parents have any time, anyplace access to learning; Learning is relevant, individualized and personalized; Schools have information systems that support accountability and efficient management; Schools, campuses, homes, libraries, businesses, and global resources are connected in a dynamic, collaborative learning environment. Yet for 21st-century learning, technology alone is not sufficient. Schools, students, and teachers must have the vision and opportunity to experiment, innovate, and create with technology as a learning tool. Ali wants to facilitate a New Era of Education in a growing number of schools and communities around the world. Technology has helped launch a new era of education that simultaneously fosters academic excellence and the practical experience needed to succeed in life and work in the growing knowledge economy. Nevertheless, communities have only begun to tap the potential of technology for learning.
Most of these students and teachers would require items such as Laptops, Tablets, Handheld devices, electronic writing pads, learning software, internet, desks, chairs, etc. Tech Avant-Garde is planning to showcase these products in Knowledge L’avenir Conclave webinars along with the names of the fulfillment agencies.
The online casino industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors on the planet. From embracing the use of cryptocurrencies to offering live dealer games, it has been a trademark of the gambling revolution.
Today, the gambling industry is using the internet and social media platforms to create new marketing opportunities. Read on to know how online casinos make use of digital marketing strategies to reach their target audience.
Content marketing
This is one marketing strategy that is used throughout the online casino industry. Online gambling sites and affiliates trying to promote their services will want to have engaging content and up to date information to offer to all their potential players. Some of the most common information that can be found includes Teen Patti Gold tips, how to play casino games, where to find the best-paying bonuses, and so on.
Most reputed gambling sites offer content that appeals to frequent gamblers. They will provide information about exclusive promotions and rewards that will be offered by the site, and provide newsletters to announce the release of new games. Without engaging content, it’s quite difficult to retain players as they may look for another online casino that lives up to their expectations.
Focus on SEO
Internet search engines determine what is relevant to the keywords by scanning every page on the web with programs like spiders or crawlers, and then compile a list of the most relevant information.
The search engine programs categorize information based on various factors, but one of the most important factors is by using keywords. Online sites make the use of keywords like “casino”, “casino games”, “gambling”, and “online casino” as these are organic casino terms for someone looking for information on a casino.
In other words, it’s about meeting the demand of customers and providing them with what they want. Using the right keywords strategy helps casino sites in understanding the response and feedback better.
User engagement
Knowing different metrics like the popular pages, the time spent on their website, and the busiest hours helps online casinos is redefining their digital marketing strategy. With these statistics, the casino sites get on an overall view of their business and their operations. Sometimes, casino providers have to focus their strategies on a particular region depending on the feedback they receive from these metrics.
Use of social media platforms
Most online gambling sites use popular social media platforms to market the contests or challenges to their customers. Some of them also use Facebook’s promoted features to increase the engagement of their content.
Online casinos use Twitter to increase user engagement. By responding to the feedback from their customers and improving the overall gambling experience on their website, they successfully attract and retain players.
YouTube
If you are an avid gambler, you might be aware that casinos display their restricted advertisements on their YouTube handle. Of course, YouTube has certain restrictions on casinos as compared to other social media platforms. However, the major advantage of YouTube marketing is to entice customers with engaging content.
Being a Soccer coach or any other sports coach is a daunting task. The career of the player totally depends upon the characteristics and behavior of the coach. Being a player having the right mindset and focus is important, but as a coach it is elementary. A coach only can show the right road to a player.
People often think that techniques and skills are the only essential trait to win a match, but in reality, it’s not true. It has been proven that mental health state or psychology plays a great role in the achievement of any goal. A positive and healthy mind will surely give the optimum result. Gerald Forestell enjoys being outdoors in his spare time whether it’s growing his garden, biking, skiing or soccer. Dr. Gerald Forestell is also a supporter of charity organizations including many local charities. There are many qualities that a soccer coach enables but some of the best traits of a great soccer coach are highlighted below.
Psychological development:
As mentioned above mental health is very essential for a player to outperform others. Thus, a coach with skill enhancement should also focus on developing the mental health of a player. As there is no sleep without peace, there is no chance to win the field if the mind is not calm. Mental relaxation is more important than improving the physical condition or exercise. If the players mind is not stable there will be lack of concentration during practice.
Open-minded:
A coach needs to be open-minded and always ready to accept the ideas and suggestions from anyone. May it a child, parent, or any other coach. Ideas give birth to some other new ideas. A great coach should not rigid himself to his thoughts and ideas. Ask for people thoughts and learning processes.
Enjoy the journey:
Being a coach is a challenging job. But you have to keep patience and love the journey. Success doesn’t take place overnight. People have to do hard work to see the phase of success. Thus, repeat the good habit over and again to expect a great result.
Unity among players:
Try to bring the spirit of teamwork among the players. It may happen that teams with extremely talented individuals will fall into the trap of relying too heavily on a single player. Which may ruin the whole match. Hence, every player must know to behave responsibly. A coach needs to make the players aware of their duty as a teammate.
Punctual:
If as a coach you are not punctual, you can’t expect your students to be. Remember time and tide waits for none. You should know the value of every second and make the best of it. Being punctual is a habit that must be adhered too.
The above-mentioned attribute is followed by many people in their day to day life, to live a disciplined life. Thus, if you’re new as a coach you need not burden yourself.

Our hands and feet never stop working. One famous artist one said that the human feet are the masterpiece of engineering and a work of art. The feet deserve special care at all times and extra special care during the monsoons. Monsoons are the worst for the feet and they lead to smelly, crinkly looking feet. The humid, wet and sticky climate translates into wet shoes, sweaty feet, cracked toes, fungal infections, itching, athlete foot and other allergies. The most common foot problems in monsoons are
Stinking feet
Swelling around the nail folds
Fungal infections
These problems can be easily taken care of by some simple foot care habits that you need to incorporate in your daily life
Don’t jump in the puddle: The roads are full of dirty rainwater, which is mixed with all kinds of muck lying on the roads and is filled with virus causing bacteria. The best way is to avoid walking in rain and especially avoid stepping in any puddles.
Dry and dry: The golden rule of foot care is to keep them as dry as possible. If by chance your feet get wet then dry them as soon as you reach home. If you keep wearing wet and dirty shoes in office, you will end up with swollen and unclean feet that are vulnerable to cracks and infections. Keep an extra pair of shoes and socks in office.
Do not walk barefoot: As tempting as it sounds to walk barefoot on the cold floor or on wet grass in monsoon, you should refrain from giving into the temptation. Waking barefoot increases the chances of getting warts and makes the feet a fertile ground for bacterial infections and fungal infections, which is hard to treat.
Wash the wet feet: Sounds strange but inculcate the habit of washing the feet as soon as you get home from work or even from an outing. Add some antiseptic liquid in lukewarm water and dip your feet in it. Let it sit for 10 minutes and wash your feet. Pat dry with a towel.
Invest is a good antifungal talcum powder: Apply powder on dry feet and keep your feet in air for some time before wearing shoes or socks.
Moisturize: Invest in a good foot cream that will keep your feet hydrated and prevent allergies and keep the heels soft and smooth. Apply the cream on dry feet twice a day, morning after the shower and night before going to bed.
Trim the toenails: Overgrown nails are an invitation to the dirt and grime to accumulate under them and a breeding ground for fungal infections. Keep your toenails short and filed.
Get some breathable footwear: Switch your heels for simple foot wear such as flip-flops, slippers, rubber boots, sandals etc. as they are easy to care dry and the water washes out easily. Avoid wearing closed shoes. Gumboots are a perfect choice for a walk in the rain. They keep the feet away from dirty water, and they are easy to care for. Never wear wet shoes. Dry the shoes overnight if you have been out in the rain.
Cover the nicks and cuts with a waterproof bandage so that water does not enter the wound in any way.
Use the following simple home remedies to give your feet the extra dose of care that they deserve:
Ground up some camphor into a fine powder and add it to the talcum powder. Sprinkle some of this mix on your feet before wearing shoes or socks. This will prevent smelly feet.
Exfoliate: Once a week set aside some time for foot pampering. Soak your feet in hot water with salt or mild shampoo for 15 minutes. The salt will kill the bacteria and remove the bad smell. Take a pumice stone and gently scrub away the dead skin cells. Wash and dry your feet and apply a good foot cream.
You can also use a papaya mask on the feet for exfoliation. Papaya softens the skin and improves cell turnover
To control sweating, add a few drops of lemon to hot water and soak your feet twice a week.
Apply henna paste on the cracks on heels, crevices between the toes. Leave the pack to dry before removing. This will help curb the fungal infections.
Mix apple cider vinegar with water and lemon and apply and the areas affected by fungal infections. Leave for half hour and then dry the area. This mix will help control the itching too.
Massaging onion juice between toes also helps in reliving itching.
