Social Activist Shri Abhishek Yash Tyagi launched the campaign FIGHT AGAINST UNEMPLOYMENT today at a Press conference held at The Fortune Hotel at Rajnagar in Ghaziabad. The occasion was to address the issue of unemployment in our country especially in Ghaziabad and other parts of Uttarpradesh.

Mr. Maninder Singh Nayyar said “The demography in India is such that around 50% of the population is below 35 year of age and we will need a lot of job opportunities and we should look at technology-driven sectors including delivery boys and others to create more employment.

Also, present on the occasion Smt. Indu Bhargava highlighted that Bal Bharti Academy (BBA) is conducting skill development and training programs across 8 states in the country to help the youth and BBA is feeling proud that they have organized this event with the support of all stakeholders where we will be able to provide economic strength to more than 1500 youth in the region of Ghaziabad.

Mr. Ankit Kumar, Associate Director & Head of Supply Chain from Shadow Fax said that we are one of the largest platforms in India to employ delivery boys and we are happy to collaborate with BBA and Mr. Abhishek Yash Tyagi to provide jobs to the youth of the area.

Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, is thrilled to announce that it received a great opportunity to be part of an amazing event, aimed at setting a world record in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The institute participated in the World Record Event, organised by GUVI in collaboration with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The initiative titled ‘AI for India’, can be easily called as India’s Biggest Coding Revolution. #AIforIndia 1.0 aimed at breaking the Guinness World Record, by training 10 Lakh participants in a one-day online workshop.

The training was provided by GUVI, an IIT-Madras Incubated Company. The virtual workshop, which was held on 24th April 2021, taught the participants how to build a ‘Face Recognition App’, by using Python Programming skills for free. The online platform did not only train people in a cool coding skill but also gave them a chance to be part of a WORLD RECORD in the AI sector.

CBSE, promoting and supporting the initiative, said that the program was aligned with the broader vision of establishing India as a global AI leader. The initiative focused on placing India among the top 3 countries, who are leading the world in Artificial Intelligence.

The school takes pride for being part of the event, wherein its teachers from IT dept along with the students from grade 8 onwards participated and received certificates of achievement for the successful completion of workshop – ‘Build a Face Recognition Application using Python as part of AI-For-India Event.’

NCR schools celebrate Earth Day virtually, encourage recycling practices

The year 2021 marks the 51st anniversary of the annual celebrations of Earth Day, with the theme of ‘Restore Our Earth’ Delhi NCR schools motivated students to engage in environmentally-conscious practices.  The events were held virtually in various schools.

To sensitize Pre Primary and Primary wing students towards environment protection and conservation, Delhi Public School Indirapuram planned and conducted activities online. From drawing & colouring competition to planting saplings, keeping bird feeders and giving them platforms to speak eloquently about paving the way for a cleaner and greener environment. The young ones also presented beautiful greeting cards with the theme of protecting Mother Earth. Nursery class students also enjoyed the Virtual Nature walk, which was a delightful experience for them. A special assembly for the tiny tots of DPS IP was organized where they performed the Earth song and as green ambassadors urged all to conserve our resources and use them wisely. They also presented short poems, slogans and held placards to sensitise others towards Mother Earth. The assembly concluded with the Green pledge, taken solemnly by the little ones

MRG School- Earth Day

Delhi Public School, Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad, organised a number of activities to create awareness to conserve our mother Earth and its resources on the occasion of Earth Day. Students of Classes I and II made bird feeders from recycled products available at home like icecream sticks, coconut shells and unused containers. While students of classes III and IV presented a skit on ‘Save Earth, Save Mankind’. The students of class V and VI made paper weights by rock paintings with beautiful slogans and students of classes VII and VIII created beautiful collage by using dry leaves, twigs and flowers.

DPS-IP Earth Day

The motive was to inculcate students with values of conservation, respecting nature, being mindful of disposing the waste, and encouraging them to reduce, reuse and recycle. In the similar spirit Delhi based pre-school based on the value based education of The Shri Ram School, The Shri Ram Wonder Years planned an Earth Week for their little learners from 19th -23rd April.  Some unique sets of activities that were planned for the kids comprised Composting with any sort of vegetable waste, scraps, fruit peels etc. within their homes. The students were also engaged in a newspaper bag activity wherein they made colourful bags which are biodegradable. Handprint activity with the theme of Earth Day Art was also planned to make children aware about the importance of green colour on Earth, and blue colour depicting water.

DPS-RNE- Earth Day

The Shri Ram Wonder Years also showed the students a presentation on methods to preserve our Mother Earth, virtual tour of a variety of fauna was also arranged to make them aware about the different species that share the planet with us, and our responsibility towards them. The Earth Week ended with a plantation drive, wherein each student planted one sapling at their homes. Videos and pictures shared on the school’s social media platforms received great appreciation from parents and other communities.

Another reputed K-12 school in Delhi carrying forward the legacy of Shri Educare, MRG School, also planned a set of activities promoting the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle practices in our daily lives. Leaf painting competition and sapling plantation were conducted bringing children close to nature’s understanding. The students also displayed their artistic qualities by participating in making a mini representation of the Mother Earth through recycled products. Overall, the parents appreciated the school’s efforts in guiding the children towards understanding of climate issues and the importance of nature conservation.

Earlier the toy fair was scheduled till 2nd March’21 but due to overwhelming response the date has been extended for 2 days. Fascinating insights on business and workforce in digital age at International Conference by Jaipuria School of Business

Ghaziabad: Business leaders and academic minds shared some fascinating insights on the present and future of business and workforce in the digital age at the International Conference organized by Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad, on Saturday, February 13.

The topic of the virtual conference was ‘Re-Imagining Business and Re-Skilling Workforce For Emerging Digital Ecosystem’. The conference featured a keynote address by Saurabh Goel, President of Havells India Ltd. and guest address by Ravichandran Venkataraman, Founder CEO, Alive Consulting and Smrti Academy. The conference’s Chief Guest was Dr. Uttiyo Raychaudhari, Vice-provost for Internationalization at University of Denver, USA.

The event started with a Saraswati Vandana at 9.30 am and was followed by a welcome address by Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions.

“Businesses across all sectors have to keep an eye open for the technological developments that are transforming the corporate landscape and demanding re-skilling of the work force for the business environment of the digital age. Only then can we hope for a holistic societal development and true progress,” Shishir Jaipuria said in his address.

The keynote address by Saurabh Goel highlighted the great digital transformation that has happened as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. “The transformation that we previously thought would come from CEO or CTO actually came from Covid. The business leaders today recognize that digital technology is the key driver of revenue. Over 80 percent of business leaders are making the move to adopt digital tech and 65 percent expect to increase their budgets in digital.”

Ravichandran Venkataraman took the discussion forward with his talk on the rise of the cyber-physical age.

He said, “The world has transformed from the machine age to information age and now to the cyber physical age. The factors driving the change are: mobility, data, internet of things, and content creation. For the future-ready organizations, the speed-to-value and radical collaboration will be the driving forces. The organizations would need clarity of purpose, radical collaboration across ecosystems, rigorous talent management, rapid data-driven decision-making, new organizational structures, and fresh entrepreneurial culture to move ahead in the digital age.”

Chief Guest Dr. Uttiyo Raychaudhari spoke about the subject from a global point of view. He said, “The digital ecosystem has disrupted the monolithic chains that we were used to. We are transforming from the age of information to the age of collaboration. The exponential growth of technology has given us so much information that data virtually guides every business decision. It’s also causing disruption to existing structures. The most important factor today is that we must navigate data and process this data with efficiency. The world economic forum in its report estimated recently that about 75 million jobs will be disrupted by machines, that is by the AI-driven automation in the next few years. The same report also found that the division of labour between humans and machines and algorithms, while disrupting jobs, is actually set to create 133 million new job roles.”

The keynote addresses by the guests were followed by elaborate panel discussions on the topics of ‘Reimagining business for emerging digital ecosystem’ and ‘Reskilling workforce for emerging digital ecosystem.’

Ghaziabad: Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad, celebrated its 16th Founder’s Day on December 12, Saturday, with the bestselling author and mythologist Devdutt Pattnaik as the Chief Guest.

The event, held virtually, was attended in large numbers by the faculty members and students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions. Shishir Jaipuria, Chairman of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society (SAJES), topped the list of dignitaries, followed by Sunita Jaipuria, Vice-Chairperson (SAJES), Harish Sanduja, Director (Schools), and Manju Rana, Principal-cum-Director.

Celebrations commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp at 4 pm. It was live-streamed on the Facebook page of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad. A short address by the Chairman set the tone for the evening, which saw a whole host of events, including a vivacious orchestra performance by the budding musicians of the school.

‘Life is to be lived each moment with a new ray of hope and optimism’ – this message formed the gist of the musical performance. The talented students also performed a musical ballet called ‘The Selfish Giant’, based on an enchanting adaptation of an Oscar Wilde fairy tale that upholds the pertinent message of healing the earth.

The celebrations peaked with the virtual appearance of author Devdutt Pattnaik, who regaled one and all with his eloquent talk that touched upon a whole range of interesting topics.

In his address, Devdutt Pattnaik applauded the invincible spirit of the students and the school in these extraordinary times and observed that the Founder’s Day theme of pursuing joy in every element of the universe can be the key to solving the toughest of problems in this world.

During the event, creativity was feted in the ‘Virtual Exhibition – Pursuit of Happiness’ that featured beautiful paintings, jaw-dropping clay work and exquisite pottery work done by the young artists of Jaipuria. Each artwork expressed the need to transform the earth by appreciating everything better: be it nature, friends, traveling, gratitude for what we have, relationships and above all the power of love.

The 16th Founder’s Day also witnessed the digital release of ‘Ignite – The School Chronicle’, which showcases the students’ zeal in these unprecedented times. Meritorious students excelling in academics and co-curricular activities were awarded and the teachers completing 10 years of dedicated service were felicitated. The school’s alumna, Kanika Gupta, 2012-13 batch, talked about the journey of her successful career and how the school, through its child-centric holistic approach, played a pivotal role in laying a strong intellectual foundation for her.

The Principal-cum-Director, Manju Rana, read the school’s repertoire and talked about the milestones achieved by the school in the year gone by.

Earlier in his address, Chairman Shishir Jaipuria expressed great pride in the fact that the Ghaziabad school has been recognized among the top 50 schools of the country. He praised the relentless efforts of the school in reaching out to the students with optimum use of technology for the uninterrupted flow of quality education during this pandemic.
