The company’s remarkable growth has not gone unnoticed. Jar won in the Best WealthTech Startup category at the Global Fintech Awards 2023 and was even mentioned as being one of the top UPI auto-pay players in the country. Jar was also recognized by LinkedIn as one of India’s Top Startups of 2023.

In the last 3 years, Jar has truly made leaps and bounds in the digital gold space, having started with a simple thought. Traditionally, there have always been high entry barriers in savings and investing: a high ticket size to start investing, time to understand and get started, and the complexity of the financial products.

From humble beginnings in Hassan, Karnataka, and Bihar Sharif, Bihar respectively, both Nishchay Ag and Misbah Ashraf had seen first-hand how middle India both earns and spends on a daily basis. They knew there was a gap in the market for a financial product that could help millions of people save better and get them started on their financial fitness journey.

That’s how Jar was born and, through Jar, these barriers of entry have been reduced significantly by leveraging the two most widely adopted financial tools in India – UPI and gold. Gold remains a popular investment in India, with over half the population (53%) choosing it. Now, a growing number of young investors are turning towards digital gold.

After getting a foothold in the gold space, Jar now plans to expand its offerings to include Lending, Investments, and more to meet the needs of its ever-growing user base.

Ravi Shankar Prasad: PM Modi Is Committed To The Development Of Bihar

After the NDA’s thumping victory in Bihar, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, in an exclusive interview with Marya Shakil, Political Editor, CNN-News18, has said that PM Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) changes the wind. He gave the credit of victory to PM Modi only. He also said that his government got votes because people appreciated the works of PM Modi during the Corona period.

Ravi Shankar Prasad strongly criticized the exit poll and said that the above has come that it should be estimated by thinking. Let me tell you that NDA government is going to be formed once again in Bihar. The NDA has won 125 seats in the assembly elections. Whereas almost all exit polls had named Tejashwi Yadav as the next Chief Minister of Bihar.

What kind of exit poll is this?

In a special conversation with CNN-News18, he got angry on exit poll. He said, ‘From Delhi, these people go to Patna and Gaya. They talk to some people there and show them what they want. The voice of the voiceless is not heard. It is better that these people maintain the dignity of the exit poll. Nitish also helped the people during the Corona period with the help of the central government. Modi government was also blessed.

What will happen to Chirag Paswan?

He said that both he and JDU had to suffer due to not being with Chirag Paswan. He said, ‘Chirag’s father was with us for a long time. He was also a Minister at the centre. The LJP is a regional party. Chirag had problems with Nitish’s leadership. Amit Shah also tried to convince them. But they did not agree. This happens in politics.

Nitish will be CM

Union Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad also said that Nitish Kumar will be the next Chief Minister of Bihar. He said that the BJP knows the relationship. This time BJP has emerged as the elder brother in the state. BJP has won a total of 74 seats. While JDU has got only 43 seats in its account. They have lost 28 seats compared to last time. Whereas BJP has gained 21 seats.

No anti-incumbency in Bihar, NDA will clinch majority in polls: CM Nitish Kumar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in an exclusive interview with CNN-News18, said that there is no anti-incumbency in the state and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will get a majority in the Assembly elections.

“There is no anti-incumbency in Bihar, I am not worried about that at all… NDA will get a majority, and if things upturn, then it will be a result of the previous 15-year rule and people will run away again,” Kumar said, adding that he will be “at peace” if he is voted out.

“If I am voted out then I will be at peace, I won’t have to do anything. If I am voted to power then I shall work for the state and its people, I am not greedy for power…” Kumar said.

The Bihar CM also spoke about the Opposition’s promises of providing jobs and called them “laughable”.

“The Opposition is making false promises… They could not give 10 lakh jobs when Bihar and Jharkhand were one. All these promises are being made to mesmerise the public,” Kumar claimed, adding that as far as the crowds at Opposition rallies are concerned, they “do not matter”.

Kumar also spoke about the generational gap between him and the other leaders in the fray, including RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Chirag Paswan.

“How does it matter? One was from cricket, another from Cinema, let them have their publicity,” Kumar said while referring to Yadav’s career as a cricketer and Paswan’s involvement in Bollywood.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister (Amit Shah) and BJP party president are all saying that I will be the chief minister when we win. I have not asked for anything, it is all up to the people of Bihar,” Kumar said.

Campaigning for the second phase of Bihar assembly elections ended on November 1, setting the stage for polling on November 3 in 94 constituencies spread across 17 districts.

The third and final round of voting will take place on November 7 and the counting of votes on November 10.
