The rate with which pollution is increasing around the world and in our country is indeed a matter of concern. The voracious use of natural resources is the main reason for the pollution of air, water and soil. Residues of plastic lying in every corner are a major reason for the decrease in soil fertility, and therefore, reduce the soil yield. Thousands of helpless people who are forced to live on streets cannot make their ends meet to manage procuring a full meal almost on a daily basis. So many animals and birds crave a drop of water during the heat of summers and die due to thirst and dehydration. Millions of orphans in the country are deprived of the warmth of a parent starve every day, seeking someone’s who will caress their heads with love. Parents who dearly nurture their children throughout their lives witness their last days in old age homes, deprived of their children’s’ support and protection. We must reach out and do everything we can muster to in the best of our capability. If every person if the country takes the pledge to practice social service, our society will cultivate into a harmonious and inclusive place to live for not just our species but all living beings. There is no religion that does not speak of doing well for others, that social service is human service. Therefore, after retirement from your work at a prominent stage of your age, spend this time by indulging yourself in social service and see how the air around you fills with peace and leaves your conscience gratified with purpose.

Indian flag is embellished with five colors: Atul Malikram

Astonishing..isn’t it? Since childhood, we have been taught that our Indian flag consists of three colors- Saffron, White, and Green with an Ashok Chakra in the middle.  The first Saffron band at the top of our flag indicates courage and strength, the second white band in the middle indicates peace and truth and the third green at the bottom shows fertility, growth, and auspiciousness of the land. The fourth color is the navy blue Ashoka Chakra, a 24 spoke wheel at the center that represents the eternal wheel of law and the dynamism of a peaceful change. The wheel denotes motion indicating that India should not resist change and move forward towards its progress.

But, have you ever thought about the blood that has been spilled to keep our flag fly high in the sky? Subhash Chandra Bose has once said to his soldiers, “Give me blood, and I shall give you freedom”. We enjoy a comfortable and independent life because of the soldiers who protect us from any foreign intrusion. The price of our freedom is paid by the blood of our soldiers. Our tricolored flag with blue Ashok chakra in the middle proudly stands high because of the protection by the invisible bloodstains of our soldiers. When we see our flag in the sky, we are filled with pride. But what about the soldiers who died protecting it? The blood that splashes on the flag when our soldiers face martyrdom is immortal as they keep those brave souls alive forever. The blood on the flag wrapped around the martyred soldiers is the gift that these valiant sons have left for their motherland.

Why can’t we see and understand the value of this red color that has been sacrificed for us? We cannot even understand the pain and sufferings of those workers who serve our soldiers throughout their life but never get any credit. The red color represents the loyalty, faith, and emotions of these people. They are the ones who witness the soldiers taking their last breath and hear “Bharat Mata ki Jai” for the last time from their lips. It’s high time we acknowledge their sacrifice and appreciate the unwavering loyalty and patriotism of these courageous people. We accept the fifth red color of the flag which may be invisible but holds so much importance for India and its people. I salute these men who happily gave their lives and offer the fifth color to our flag so that we can sleep in peace.

It is wisely said; ‘When you do charity from one hand not even your other hand should know about it’, with the changing era and the mentality of today’s generation not much has remained same. Donation has become an affair of self-pride and society enhancement or rather a matter of social status and standing. We are all humans and are attracted to power of money in a way or other whether we realize it or not it gives us a sense of power, superiority, and vanity. More often than not we intend to lose our ethical values and the real reason for making that contribution, what we remember is that monetary power can buy any happiness in this world, however the truth in a complete reflex of this statement.

Can we for once ask ourselves; is donation a duty or it’s for making fun of others? Is it for a cause or for applause? Are we reel or real about it? Yes, at those times for once ask yourself what is it that we are trying to put across, is it the sense of responsibility towards the benefit of the society or just a feeling of superiority. We today, are living in a selfie generation, not only we mean selfie as an added character in our lives but it has become an extremely crucial element of our lives. Imagine people giving you ‘prasaad’ and taking their selfies and posting them on their timeline. What would that reflect as if you have asked the other person to serve you a favor, little did you actually realize but that exactly what people do today and provoke the poor.

If you are trying to aid because it evokes the idea that the poor are helpless and incapable of helping themselves, you are misinterpreting their individuality and degrading, dishonoring their dignity. It is strongly believed that god has kept same place for all human beings in his feet we are all one with no caste, creed or social status. If some of us are flourished and have a little or extra we should feel responsible towards society to donate with the objective of spreading equality. There is so much that we have procured from the society. The society comprises of varied segment and strata of people some are affluent and some are mere struggling for their survival.

When we make the donation for mere clicks, we are just trying to put forward that we have contributed selflessly for the benefit of the society. However, the said act is just for our self goodwill and selfishness. Being on the receiver end even the one accepting your charity is not acknowledging your act but is helpless with his individual need of the hour. Treating society with equality will make your path easier. Becoming a good human being is far more important than becoming richer and better because a life with no moral is a waste. Do charity silently or the even your existence will become charity.

We all know that our whole life revolves around the Time cycle that is constantly in motion since millennials. Even though it never stops for anyone, it is always changing its appearance from time to time. Externally, these changes can be measured in the form of the planet’s cycles, seasons, appearances of the moon, etc. While internally, it is seen in the various periods of life, such as infancy, childhood, puberty, maturity, and old age. These external and internal cycles run parallel to each other.

Externally, the time cycle includes seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. There have always been 24 hours in a day and 12 months in a year, without any change. But it is written with the golden letters on the pages of history about a year with 14 months instead of 12, and this year is none other than 2021. This is why the year 2021 will be of 14 months, and not 12. Yes, 14 months. How? Do you want to know? So listen. The standard time required for a common man to sleep is at least 8 hours. If we reduce our sleep by 2 hours per day, then we can save 60 hours straight from our 30 days month. With changing times humans have also changed, in many ways. With the changing times the world is also moving on and adopting modern social standards and means, but moving away from their actual origin of being human beings. Learning to live with this competitive world and proving individual worth Humans have inculcated the habit of being pickers and opportunists to find mistake in others existence and the work they do. Being mean is not only a bad habit but a curse to making however living in the society we exist today and the competition with ‘Survival of the fittest’ is the soul motive. However, brutal but true this is that today’s humans exist human beings don’t.

The generation today is factor of their individual soul, thinking of what’s right/wrong is their own choice with limited thought process is the reality that is faced by today’s generation. On the other hand, if we talk about having faith, humans today are neither true nor trustworthy. Today if you go to seek individual opinions a person would rather believe an unknown than their own family/friends/relatives. This is surprising but true, that today’s generation want to stay away from everyone, however there is no restriction or problem of love and care but still living on someone’s guidelines is always difficult specially when a person has a stand for himself and is self-sufficient. Whenever a celebrity promotes a product or service, people are eager to buy it. But when a relative or friend of ours starts a new business, how often do we think in taking his product or service, we research it, judge it, and finally ensure not being a regular customer for it. Taking out negatives is easier than saying ‘yes, you can do it’.

One question that keeps popping up my mind, all the times, I’d like to put out here, Why we blindly believe in people whom we have never met, whom we do not even know well, who are already living a life full of amenities vis-à-vis people who live the same life as us or say that we have millions of reasons for not supporting our loved ones. Actually if we go out and measure reality these are mere excuses, yes! Just excuses.

Why don’t we for once question ourselves what are we doing? Why don’t we understand that we are pushing our own people backwards? How can we trust a stranger more than our loved ones? Why are we not able to make this belief towards our loved ones?

Troopel.com started a campaign against the worsening conditions of the cemeteries and graveyards during the corona period

Due to the corona pandemic, the conditions of the cemeteries and the graveyards are worsening day by day. Therefore, the country’s emerging online news cum views platform, Troopel.com has taken an initiative to change and improve the dire situation of the cemeteries. The channel is continuously running online polls, which is getting a lot of support from the public. In the past few months, we have heard many cases where a lot of negligence has been done by the officials towards the corpses. Somewhere a 15-day-old corpse has been given to the family, while in many cases; the funeral was done without informing the family.

The figures recorded in the administration and the cemeteries also vary from each other. More than 200 cremations have been performed in Indore in the past 20 days, but the administration has a record of only 100 people. Large amounts are paid for the corpses of corona-infected patients to be transported to the cemeteries. Ambulance drivers responsible for carrying the dead body are demanding 8 to 10 thousand rupees for transporting the corpse to the crematorium and performing the last rites.

Furthermore, ambulances are transporting five to six bodies all at once. They are not being taken care of by the administration and the general public. It is very disheartening to see that people are making a business of this epidemic.
