BML Munjal University Plants Native Trees to Nurture Nature on World Environment Day

National, 07 June 2024: On the occasion of World Environment Day, BML Munjal University (BMU) organized a tree plantation drive on its campus to reinforce its commitment to environmental sustainability. Blue Planet Environmental Solutions commemorates World Environment Day with Tree Planting and Environmental Street Play

Greater Noida, June 7: The employees of Blue Planet, one of Asia’s largest circularity and sustainability solutions provider, embarked on a significant environmental initiative by planting 100 saplings. The saplings were planted in the Green Belt on the periphery of the centralized Integrated Waste Management Unit maintained by Blue Planet with the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), Knowledge Park III, Greater Noida. Blue Planet will continue to nurture these saplings with all care and maintenance along with GNIDA to ensure the maintenance of this green belt area. With the rise in extreme weather events, and the reduction of urban green belts, building these green spaces is crucial for relief from heatwaves.

CP67 Mall Celebrates World Environment Day with Themed Events

Mohali, June 6, 2024: CP67 Mall in Mohali celebrated the World Environment Day with a vibrant and impactful event, which perfectly aligned with this year’s World Environment Day theme of “Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience.” In collaboration with Isha Foundation’s globally renowned “Save Soil” campaign, the event underscored the critical importance of soil conservation and sustainable land management. The “Save Soil” campaign is completely in sync with the World Environment Day theme as it focuses on preserving soil health to combat desertification and enhance drought resilience.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, CP67 Mall joined hands with Isha Foundation to support the “Save Soil” campaign, promoting a global effort to save soil and preserve the planet.

The festivities began with an electrifying Flash Mob, which captivated the attendees and set an energetic tone for the evening. This was followed by a visually compelling video presentation, designed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the pressing issues of land degradation and drought.

Participants engaged in interactive games aimed at generating environmental awareness, including quizzes and puzzles that educated attendees on the importance of planting trees and maintaining soil health. The distribution of plants further encouraged personal involvement in promoting greenery.

The highlight of the evening was a Musical Band Performance featuring songs themed on protecting the environment. Following this, the significance of soil conservation was showcased through a special choreography, in which the attendees also participated in large numbers.

The event concluded with a timely message from Mr. Umang Jindal, CEO of Homeland Group, CP67 Mall in Mohali – a project by Unity Homeland, which emphasised the power of collective action in environmental conservation. Hundreds of Trees Planted on World Environment Day, People Pledged To Nurture Them

Delhi NCR: To celebrate World Environment Day, various renowned organizations took significant steps to contribute to a greener future. DLF Mall of India conducted a tree-plantation drive to promote environmental awareness.
