Bawana Infra’s Green Initiative: A Day Dedicated to Planting Saplings in 2024

New Delhi: Bawana Infra has once again initiated a plantation drive with the motto of “Clean and Green Bawana“. On 18 July, Bawana Infra launched a plantation campaign in Delhi’s Bawana Industrial Area with the target of planting 5,000 saplings in a day. Various fruit trees and flower plants have been planted across sectors one to four of the industrial area under this campaign.

This event started from sector four and was led by Chief Guest Sanjeev Mittal, MD, DSIIDC, who planted a Gulmohar sapling. DSIIDC’s CE S.N. Saran also joined him on this occasion. Moreover, Bawana ACP Vivek Bhagat, CISF Commandant Vijay Kumar, Additional Division Officer of Bawana Fire Department R.K. Sinha, and Tata Power District Manager Naveen Kumar also participated in this plantation drive on a special invitation.

Bawana Infra’s Executive Director Pulkit Agarwal said that every year they run a plantation campaign in the Bawana Industrial Area with the slogan “Clean and Green Bawana.” This year the plantation campaign will continue until August 15, 2024, and during this thirty thousand different trees and plants such as Gulmohar, Jamun, Arjun, Pilkhan, Amaltash, Guava, Neem, Papri, and others will be planted. This plantation drive in the Bawana Industrial Area is being carried out with the support of DSIIDC, Delhi Police, Delhi Fire Department, CISF, TPDDL, factory unions, and factory owners.

Udaipur, Nathdwara, 03rd July 2024 – Miraj Group today announced the launch of an ambitious tree plantation drive, pledging to plant 1 crore trees. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of tree conservation and to enhance the green cover for maintaining environmental balance. The company has organized 5 crore seeds and plants such as Neem, Amaltas, Peepal, Umar, and Gulmohar and the likes to be planted in the arid regions between Udaipur and Nathdwara.

Miraj Group Launches Ambitious 1 Crore Tree Plantation Campaign

Over the past several years, Miraj Group has undertaken extensive tree plantation efforts. The company has established a dedicated team and comprehensive infrastructure to ensure the successful growth and maintenance of these plantations.
Several notable gardens have been part of this green initiative. The Nakshatra Vatika at Gulab Bagh, Udaipur, is a unique garden that combines astrological themes with botany, featuring trees symbolizing each zodiac sign. It also includes an acupressure track for walkers. Another significant project is the Tri-Netra Circle Garden, Nathdwara and Maharana Pratap Airport, and Chetak Circle in Udaipur. Additionally, the organization has gone above and beyond by maintaining the garden and planting thousands of trees at Maharana Bhupal General Hospital and TB Hopsital.

Beyond these initiatives, thousands of trees and tree guards have been donated to various schools in Udaipur, NGOs, police lines, police stations, hospitals, and other institutions.

Delhi NCR: To celebrate World Environment Day, various renowned organizations took significant steps to contribute to a greener future. DLF Mall of India conducted a tree-plantation drive to promote environmental awareness. During this program, over 1,000 saplings of various species, including Peepal, Amla, Jamun, Ashoka, Neem, and Moharsari, were planted around the mall as a pledge to keep the environment clean, green, and happy.

The dedicated team from DLF Mall of India and students from Shankara Special School actively participated in the campaign. The students were also educated about protecting the environment and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Participants emphasized the importance of planting trees and committed to environmental conservation.

Meanwhile, in Greater Noida, SKA Destiny 1 and Paramount Golf Foreste Society also carried out a tree plantation drive to mark Environment Day. Over 1,000 saplings were planted along society grounds and footpaths. Saplings were distributed as gifts to residents, extending World Environment Day greetings and reinforcing the pledge to save the environment. Sanjay Sharma, Director of SKA Group, emphasized that tree planting is essential in combating global warming, which led to the planting campaign at SKA Destiny-1 Society. Residents of Paramount Golf Foreste Society also planted over 1,000 saplings.

Amid this celebration, Escon Infra Realtor organized a tree-plantation campaign at Panache on World Environment Day. Approximately 200 saplings were planted, including Peepal, Amla, Jamun, Ashoka, Neem, and Moharsari. This act of planting trees served as a message for environmental conservation.
