Mitsubishi Electric collaborates with Narayan Seva Sansthan to gift 145 differently abled with artificial limbs, wheelchairs, crutches and tricycles this Christmas

A plethora of surprises was given when Mitsubishi Electric and Narayan Seva Sansthan collaborated to donate 145 differently-abled individuals with artificial limbs, wheelchairs, crutches and tricycles. In this philanthropic initiative on account of Christmas, differently-abled received wheelchairs, crutches and tricycles in Sector-4, Gurugram from Mitsubishi Electric and Narayan Seva Sansthan. High-quality aids & appliances were distributed through this free of cost artificial distribution camp and CSR initiative.

In the limb camp, 50 differently-abled received this free aid of artificial limbs, 20 wheelchairs and 40 tricycles, 35 crutches and a few of them were even shortlisted for OPD. Since 1985, NSS Team is working towards an accessible and equivalent society for the differently-abled in India.

Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “It is a very happy moment for us that 145 disabled people will receive free of cost prosthesis, wheelchair, crutches and tricycle in Gurugram. While maintaining social distancing in the camp, the NSS team requested everyone to follow the COVID-19 guidelines and wear masks. Our team at NSS, thanks to Mitsubishi Electric for making the dream of 145 differently-abled people come true of being a part of the mainstream.”

Before the pandemic, NSS has distributed around 2,74,603 wheelchairs, 264422 tricycles, 297789 crutches, 361997 and 1,72,000 blankets among the needy and underprivileged individuals through various camps.

Narayan Seva Sansthan Launches #Ghargharbhojan Campaign amidst second wave of COVID-19

National: Narayan Seva Sansthan today announced the #Ghargharbhojan Campaign. The campaign has been launched with the aim of distributing free food to the migrants and those in need during the second wave of COVID-19. The campaign will be to distribute free food amongst COVID-19 positive families of the differently abled in cities such as Baroda, Meerut and Parbhani.

Narayan Seva Sansthan has been running another campaign very successfully in Udaipur under the name #Sathihathbadhana. Under this campaign the NGO is offering free Food, Hospital Bed, Ambulance and Oxygen to those in need. NSS has supported about 572 patients with free Ambulance Seva , has offered Oxygen facilities to 127 people free of cost and has offered Hospital Bed facility to 122 needy in Udaipur.

In its PAN India Corona Medical Kit campaign, NSS has offered 1234 free Corona Medical Kits in the Delhi, Baroda, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kota, Meerut & Bangalore by courier till date. The campaign was for those COVID-19 patients who have tested positive and have been prescribed medicines. The Medical kit would have specific medicines pre-prescribed by Doctors. The Kit would include medicines such as Paracetamol, Doxy Capsule, and Vitamin tablets zinc with Azithromycin, tablet Ivermectin, tablet D3 60 k with Multivitamin Tablets.

Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “Stay Home and Stay Safe and do not venture out of your homes with no work and no mask. We can help this virus from further spreading by abiding the simple norms laid by the Government. Our motto has been to serve the humanity and with small causes we and our teams would love to help those in need. We have seen the ground reality of Oxygen unavailability and we are trying our best to offer everything as an assistance to save lives of those in dire need during this COVID-19 crisis. Our free sevas could help each patient who is in need with necessities. We pray that all of us get off the crisis as soon as we can.”

Amid the second wave, NGO has already in progress an extensive dissemination exercise of 18108 meals to help the local and needy in different states across India. Narayan Seva Sansthan supports the destitute across 5 states

Narayan Seva Sansthan which has been helping the destitute and the differently abled community during COVID-19 and otherwise has extended help to those in need with free food, clothes, mask and health support through a webinar across 5 states such as Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

During covid-19, Narayan Seva Sansthan conducted numerous campaigns in 5 states amongst needy, students and differently abled with a distribution of food packets, masks, clothing and school uniforms, sweater and blanket distributions.

Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “Narayan Seva Sansthan has always extended help to those in need. We have always been helping the needy who have suffered job losses especially during the time of COVID-19 in rural areas. People faced countless difficulties like food, clothes and basic amenities in 5 major states. Through this campaign we targeted 5 states especially the immigrants who were on piece rate wages and suffered job losses. In view of the shortage of employment and work, we ran our campaigns in the cities by providing free ration kits, distribution of clothes, school uniforms and blankets.”

Contributing during trying times of the pandemic, Narayan Seva Sansthan last 35 years, offered 982400 food packets and 39136000 food trays to the patients. Enabling differently abled to bring them into the mainstream society by organizing artificial limb campaigns in rural and urban India, keeping the health potential in the agenda for differently-abled. In case of any calamity, such as in floods in Assam province, Narayan Seva Sansthan went to offer the free food supply to 1000 families in the course of COVID-19. The organization, has offered a  grant of Rs 11 lakh for the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
