Sixth Element Finserv’s Setup Services India to strengthen financial services market in Pune

Sixth Element Finserv’s Setup Services India (SSI) aims to develop a one-stop financial services solution for the next-gen entrepreneurs; it aims to facilitate business registration, compliance(s) management and advisory processes to be robust, transparent and cost-effective.

Headquartered in New Delhi, SSI has a profound professional network and in-house team of CAs, CSs, MBAs to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the services being delivered. The company says that the goal is to become an extensive KPO in the B2B arena and provide solutions to the new India.

Talking about Pune’s scope of giving India new startups, Nishant Arora, founder, Setup Services India (SSI), said, “Pune is among the cities with largest youth population; the rapid urbanization has led to an influx of youths in the city, and 73 per cent of its total population is below 50 years of age. Therefore, we can easily say that Pune has an edge in the probability to give India the next-gen startups and making unicorns.

Pune has consistently ranked among the top-5 cities in software & IT startups. The 2000s saw many new startups in the software services and products space. The company says that it wants to strengthen the startup network in India by easing out the business processes.

Explaining the company’s role in the startup ecosystem in the city, Arora, said, “We provide end-to-end financial services to the startups looking for a head start in the Indian startup ecosystem. From incorporation to regulatory registrations like GST, MSME, IEC, we do it all. Post incorporation, we extend a plethora of services that can take care of compliances management, internal MIS development, project report preparation, agreements drafting and startup pitch deck preparation too.”

“In today’s time where consultants suggest startups to use online tools to streamline their day-to-day finances & compliance management, SSI is trying to shift the paradigm and promote the KPO culture in India so that they can outsource key financial and technical activities to agencies like SSI. It will help founders/ entrepreneurs focus on their core business activities and grow // instead of being tied up in managing their financial processes and wasting time on something that can be outsourced and managed with ease,” he adds.

SSI is all about next-gen startups’ requirements, i.e providing quality services under one roof to guarantee efficiency and effectiveness in an easy process. “Coming from a vast experience and handling an array of industries, the promoters, experts and counsel of consultants at SSI help new startups adapt the working flows, SOPs’, knowledge base & know-how enjoyed till date by only leading corporations which eventually pay like maybe 7 -10 figure pay packages to their CFOs,” he said.

The company says that it is trying to replace accounts dept and not the CA; SSI is introducing CRM in financial services so that startups feel secure while being associated with a consulting firm. The experts at SSI are pushing and promoting use of targeted MIS, reporting mechanisms & data analytics to help the entrepreneurs get the best info out of their day-to-day activities.

On the usability of future-oriented KPO culture in finance in a labour-intensive country like India, Arora said, “Corporate employee count of Uber India is in double digits, which should appeal the entrepreneurs on how such a small number of employees can manage big shows; this is possible if a company is effectively automated and outsource the activities that do not concern its day-to-day business.”

On the extent to which outsourcing of financial/ technical activities can be done in a company, Arora said, “Some large corporations in India have even outsourced their payment management systems where service providers manage the banking of clients and remit payments approved as per the set SOPs’. But, this info doesn’t come to the knowledge of the masses. SSI is trying to bring in the KPO culture so that India can be labour as well as technologically intensive at the same time.

The organisation under the leadership of Dr. Shweta Singh contributes to society. Supported by her research, academic papers & presentation; Dr. Shweta Singh regularly organises podcasts on women empowerment, women’s education, women’s health & mental health for working women. In addition to her podcasts, her novels, plays, and manuals serve as a catalyst to help women reimagine their world and their position in it.

“I believe in empowering women to redefine the limits of society and build for themselves a better future. For this, it is very essential to present a modified perspective that breaks prejudice relating to women’s strength and their native cultures that they follow or believe in. There is a need to bring about a paradigm shift in the mindset of people and how they perceive women as homogenous, locally & globally. Informing women is essential but doing so with stories and conversations is pivotal to change. I initiated this work through my radio show and magazine sixteen years back. I took my research & ideas about ‘identities of womanhood’ to women living in immigrant areas of Chicago through a radio program that I produced & hosted, called Global Desi World & Women.” said Dr. Shweta Singh, Founder at Think Women Company.

“Then I invited two of my friends Bhagyashree Gokhale and Shveta Kumar to push out a zine, called Empowered Women. The online magazine provided space for women from community to share their ideas. Then I started writing novels & plays that build stories to break stereotypes. These are not easy mediums but are effective in transmitting the message I wanted to convey. Starting a conversation that makes sense to women, can lead women to find their identities,” added Dr. Shweta Singh.

Dr. Shweta Singh is an embodiment of powerhouse as an academician, an entrepreneur, an author, a policy analyst and a coach whose world shifts between Chicago & Lucknow.

She has been involved in empowering women & doing social communication work from early days of her life. She has been a part of UNICEF and Oxfam as a consultant and worked on issues like child rights, child abuse, social development policy, etc. A multifaceted woman of many skills; whose works are not just limited to doing research and writing novels, Dr. Shweta Singh has hosted and produced a radio show #Globaldesi World n Women on WLUW in Chicago for ten years.

Fintechs to play a role in greater financial inclusion: Nishant Arora

Digital banking is a huge play in India, according to KPMG’s Pulse of Fintech, which also points out that it has a unique model compared to other jurisdictions, with digital banks serving primarily as Software as a Service (SaaS) providers and regulatory responsibilities remaining with bank partners. The fintech business received $2 billion in investments in the first half of 2021, which is equivalent to the total amount invested in the entire year of 2020.

Commenting on the scope of fintechs, Nishant Arora, founder, Sixth Element Finserv’s Setup Services India (SSI), says, “After working in the financial advisory/consultancy industry for more than seven years, I found out that there is no brand in the financial advisory industry that guaranteed quality services to the general public. The Fintech companies have to realize that not every startup can or want to hire a huge accounting firm because they are not only expensive to hire, but also lack the flexibility that a startup may wish to. As a result, SSI was founded as a pure management consulting firm with advisors, facilitators, and problem solvers to help SMEs, young entrepreneurs, salaried employees/professionals, foreign investors, and business owners overcome their challenges.”

According to Nishant, “The goal of the Fintechs should be to assist startups by making it easier to do business in India. At SSI, our goal is to become an extensive KPO in the B2B arena and provide various solutions to the new India. We use advanced data metrics and new methods to handle finances professionally.”

Nishant began working in finance even before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Delhi in 2016. He started his career as an Articled Trainee in an accounting firm in 2013 and later continued as a Senior Associate, until 2017. He worked on Statutory Audits, financial structures, and taxes of leading companies in the housing and real estate, consumer goods manufacturing, engineering, heavy equipment manufacture, textile, automobile, hospitality, entertainment, banking industries and PSUs throughout his time with the accounting company.

Talking about filling the gap and help the business grow from scratch, Nishant, says, “The aim should be to develop a one-stop financial services solution for the next-gen entrepreneurs. The need is to help foreign and Indian companies identify strategic advantages and incentive schemes in the Indian commercial ecosystem before incorporating their businesses. At SSI, we keep these goals in mind.

Explaining more about his company, he informs that “the role of SSI starts before the launch stage of a business; SSI nurtures past ideation & projection, and then proceeds with the registration of formal entities for clients and further help them to structure their MIS, create internal financial control systems, restructure their capital layouts and raise funds via both debt as well as equity instruments.

Also, to facilitate the #startupindia initiative, SSI does not charge any professional fees for startup registrations.

Apart from companies, we also help individual clients with their financial needs and compliance requirements throughout the year.”

Looking to promote outsourcing technical activities related to finance, SSI is bringing in domestic KPO culture. Nishant adds, “We aim to become a gateway for foreign companies who are looking out to establish their businesses in India.”

Decoding the future of HR and Hiring in the Pandemic Era

  • Vicky Jain, Founder, uKnowva, A 360- degree HR Automation Software

The enormous worldwide magnitude of the Covid-19 epidemic has resulted in disruption becoming the new normal in many aspects of life. The pandemic has caused a significant change in the way several business streams work, including human resources. The epidemic has spurred businesses to expedite their use of 21st century HR technologies and to find innovative methods to maximize its value.

The lockdown signalled a paradigm change to what has come to be known as the “new normal” – overnight shifts from offices to virtual workplaces heightened the need for HR digitalization, which was lacking in many businesses before the global health crisis. The major areas of emphasis in which HR has been engaged may be classified into two categories: digitalization of HR processes and technological transformation.

The Role of Technology in the HR Hiring Process

According to a recent KPMG study research on Covid-19 HR in India, 66 percent of organizations have postponed or paused recruiting schedules, while 30 percent have reduced their recruiting headcount budget. Furthermore, in order to overcome the limitations of physical cooperation, an increasing number of businesses are using innovative working methods like digital platforms.
Organizations must urgently re-imagine their human resource environment, particularly their recruiting strategy, in order to weather the current crisis while also planning for the future. Leaders are seeking automation solutions that address the paradigm change that has resulted in new approaches for working, evolving job positions, and a tumultuous recruiting market. Once HR slowly began to turn to artificial intelligence to digitize its processes, things began to open up and shift.

AI Brings Profound Transformation to the Recruiting Process

HR departments all across the world are using Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Machine Learning to expedite work and improve the recruiting process. Recruiters used AI software to do job-candidate matching, which is a step forward from conventional, commoditized recruiting procedures. The skill sets required for a certain job function are rigorously matched with the capabilities held by applicants via job-candidate matching, resulting in better recruiting choices. As a result, recruiters may cast a broader net when looking for prospects, knowing that only the best and most qualified prospects will show up for interviews.

Furthermore, HR managers placed a larger value on applicant experience throughout the recruiting process. This prevented the proper talent from being lost to rivals owing to a lack of engagement or timely response. HR managers started employing automated chatbots to offer feedback after interviews and improve the applicant experience. AI-enabled HR managers to analyze everything from cultural compatibility to applicant capabilities practically instantly using machine learning and Natural Language Processing. Finally, to further optimize the recruiting process, recruiters used social media, online ads, and video-based recruiting platforms.

The Growing Importance of HR’s Role in Organizations

Human resources include more than simply employee onboarding and talent acquisition. While the lockdown appeared like a well-deserved break at first, it had a negative impact on staff morale after months of confinement. HR professionals all across the globe have had to cope with an increase in employee mental health difficulties. Changing the manner of internal communication, making employee communication more interactive, stepping outside their domain of responsibility and checking in on employees is also a part of HR’s responsibility.

During the pandemic, technology played a critical role in assisting HR in managing their personnel. HR technology solutions have aided talent managers in interacting with employees, receiving real-time feedback, assessing their performance, determining incentives, engaging with employees, and even connecting with them on a personal level.

AI will revolutionize the future of Human Resource Management

There will be a dynamic movement from conventional HR operations to technology-based operations as HR becomes more reliant on technology to operate and manage personnel. According to experts, we will see this transformation in the future decade, to the point where new and previously unknown HR professions will become prominent by 2030. In an article published by the Harvard Business Review, over 20 new HR-related tasks and responsibilities were identified as likely to become genuine positions in the near future. Human Bias Officer, Human Facilitator, Business Continuity Director, Human Network Analyst and many more occupations have their origins in technology.

This is the beginning of a technologically-driven HR development. Technology will play a considerably larger part in HR activities in the future than it does now, and it is reasonable to say that this epidemic has served as a rehearsal for the future of HR management.

Traya Health’s treatment emerges as a gamechanger in hair loss treatment

New Delhi: Bringing a paradigm shift in hair loss treatment by mixing ayurvedic wisdom with dermatology and nutrition, Traya Health with its treatment is providing a holistic solution to efficiently treat hair loss at the molecular level. The company which is the brainchild of founders Altaf Saiyed and Saloni Anand is now emerging as a gamechanger by pioneering the concept of using ayurvedic solutions compatible with dermatology for best results.

“The idea came when I started experiencing hair loss a few years ago due to thyroid. After many failed attempts, I decided to dig deeper and find the root cause of my hair loss. Being a biochemist myself, I realized that hair loss, like any other chronic lifestyle problem, is internal and cannot be managed by applying shampoos and oils. I also understood that allopathy alone is not enough to manage chronic issues and started looking for holistic solutions to manage the issue effectively,” said Altaf Saiyed.

Hair is not only one of the most noticeable parts of our body but also such an important expression of an individual’s personality. It enhances a person’s looks and also helps boost their confidence. However, hair loss is a growing concern today amongst the youth who are in their 20s or early 30s. What is more concerning is that due to lack of awareness, misconceptions, myths, and misinformation, most of the treatable cases are left unattended. Hair loss can also become a cause of low self-esteem which can trigger mental health conditions. The most common causes of hair loss are genetics, stress, poor diet, medication, pollution, and underlying health conditions.

Traya has a very unique treatment method where Dermatology, Ayurveda, and Nutrition are combined and tailored to each customer’s railroad concern and health history. This allows them to treat hair loss in a way that is more wholesome and sustainable than any other solution out there.

“It is not a treatment plan, but instead a healing plan. It is different from any other hair loss treatment which tends to be one-dimensional. The argument that genetic hair loss can’t be reversed is not completely true. Genetic hair loss cannot be reversed at Stage 5 or 6. But can be prevented through Stages 1-4. And that’s what we want to have people take preventive action. But as a result of ill information, only 3-4% of patients consult a dermatologist for hair-related problems. And even the ones that do never keep up with the courses. We also have a workaround with our hair coach system. A guide who tracks your progress throughout the treatment and helps you use the treatment to get the most out of it,” said the spokesperson.

Traya is the only hair company that has doctors to approve a treatment plan for each case. They identify the root cause of the condition and treat it by making a solution best suited for patients. Their indigenous ayurvedic formulas treat internal triggers for hair loss by way of improving digestion and absorption, reducing pitta dosha which is also included in the diet plans. They nourish the hair follicles through these medicines and use mediated serums and customized oil to stimulate regrowth and maintain scalp health.

However, still, a majority of the population believes that shampoo can treat hair loss completely but people don’t know that its effectiveness is limited only to fixing scalp conditions such as dandruff, alleviating oily or scalp, or cleansing residue building that can aggravate hair loss.

“As shampoo has a very short period of contact with the scalp and the hair follicle, it doesn’t have enough time to stimulate hair growth or prevent hair loss. It remains a scalp treatment that can be a remedy for damaged hair and a hair loss shampoo will not work in hair loss triggered by underlying health problems. That’s why we aim to bring awareness about the causes of hair loss so people can make informed decisions when choosing a treatment for themselves. This has been an age of rejecting instant fixes and looking for sustainable solutions. We want the same for hair loss. We always say at Traya – Health first, hair second, and always happy,” Saloni Anand said.
