Express Avenue Wellness fest 2.0 begins

Chennai: Express Avenue Chennai’s award winning fashion and entertainment mall today commences to host second edition of wellness fest curated by The Divine Sparks & Sunita Agarwal. The objective of this three-day wellness fest is to spread Wellness and encourage a holistic approach to like for taking care of one’s wellbeing. The fest was inaugurated by MD of Express Avenue & Express Infrastructure Private Limited – Ms Kavita Singhania

This fest unveils a plethora of healing modalities for the body, mind emotions & energies experiential sessions. It is being held on 19th, 20th and 21st of February from 11 AM – 9PM at the Central Atrium.

The Wellness Fest is an amalgamation of both science and alternate therapies. The fest will consist of various activities such as Food stalls, Spa, Yoga, Tarot card reading, Workshops and diets. The workshops would be conducted by various Nutritionists, doctors, yoga professionals and dieticians.

Express Avenue welcomes Spanish fashion brand MANGO to its premises

Chennai: Express Avenue Mall, Chennai’s premium award-winning fashion and entertainment mall recently opened its doors to the Spanish fashion brand- MANGO. The store is 2000 sq ft in size located on ground floor of the mall.

MANGO is an internationally famous multinational, which designs, manufactures and markets women’s and men’s clothing and accessories.

Commenting on the launch, Munish Khanna, Chief Revenue Officer, Express Avenue, said, “We are glad to have MANGO on board. It has been our endeavour to give our customers the power of making quality choices. Express Avenue has been in the forefront in getting the best of the brands in the city first. International brands such as Under Armour, Mont Blanc, Bath & Body Works, H&M, and Armani to name a few. We also opened Chennai’s First- Mount Road Social.”

The authorities and staff at Express Avenue ensure that all the social distancing norms are diligently followed. As a process since opening, all the regular touch points are frequently sanitized by the malls. Sanitizers have been placed at vantage points across Express Avenue and temperature monitoring for customers is must. A help-desk/ first-aid point has also been set up for customers.

Express Pongal festival extended on popular demand

Express Avenue Mall’s ‘Express Pongal Festival’- An event filled with music, fun activities, and an endless shopping spree on The Day 3 received such an overwhelming response that the mall authorities have extended the celebration till 12th January 2020, adding to days of celebration.

An exhibit of stalls was set-up where patrons could buy handmade products from small artisans and support them. The products by artisans include Clay Products, Brass Handicrafts, Tanjore Art, Handmade Decor, Mats, Daris, Snacks and Chutneys. The customers enjoyed every bit of the fest and the atmosphere was reverbing with excitement.

As the year’s first big cultural event, the entertainment quotient was 100%. The Pongal musical delight included Carnatic Conversation Performances. There was a Parrot card reader and Kai Joisam stall. The fest also had a live pottery making session, which received great response. Customers enthusiastically participated in the Rangoli making competition and Pot decoration competition. Prizes were given to the best Rangolis and decorated pots.

Express Avenue now home to Taneira by Tata

Express Avenue Mall, Chennai’s premium award-winning fashion and entertainment mall recently launched the first store of Taneira by Tata in Chennai. Taneira houses a vibrant range of handcrafted sarees from across the country.

Housing the diverse textiles and craftsmanship of India, the assorted collection ranges from Banarasi silks including the rare-to-find Pitambari, Rangkaat and Gyasar, rich Kanjeevarams including revival designs, Chanderis & Maheshwari’s from Madhya Pradesh, Jamdanis from Bengal, Ikats from Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and a vast collection of Tussars, India’s indigenous silk.
