Suraj pe Mangal Bhari – World Television Premiere, on Zee Cinema…

Evoking an era before smartphones and social media Zee Cinema, is all set to take you into the witty, dramatic, and conflicting lives of Suraj and Mangal, with the World Television Premiere of Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, this complete family entertainer is studded with stellar performances by Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Annu Kapoor and Vijay Raaz. The story begins with Madhu Mangal Rane (Manoj Bajpayee) who has become a self-proclaimed wedding detective after his lady love (Neha Pendse) is married off to a person who is obsessed with perfection in everything. Scared by his experience, Madhu Mangal Rane takes an oath of exposing the bad habits of prospective grooms, so that no girl gets married to an unsuitable man. The entertainment quotient jumps a notch higher when Madhu Mangal Rane crosses path with Suraj (Diljit Dosanjh).

Talking about the film, Manoj Bajpayee shared, “I really enjoyed playing the character of Detective Madhu Mangal Rane. I read the script and I immediately wanted to be a part of the story. While this was a new kind of a role for me to experiment with, I was confident about it as Abhishek always has a very clear vision with his films. The project was full of learning and my character pushed me beyond my comfort zone as an actor. I love these challenges and they really help me grow. The light-hearted story will show the audiences characters and situations that are immersed with situational comedy and drama, making the plot all the more interesting.”

The story takes off when Suraj who is looking for a bride starts to get suspiciously rejected by the potential bride’s families. The story accelerates when he realises that it’s the detective Madhu Mangal Rane who is creating this havoc in his life and starts to plot against him. Thus, begins the mad events of outrunning each other’s tricks. This comical nok-jhok between Suraj and Mangal is brilliantly honed by Manoj Bajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh.

The high-octane action drama, Aatish The Weapon will premiere on 18th December at 8pm. This movie has Vijay Antony in a double role, making it a top-notch action entertainer! In the same weekend, Zee Cinema audience will witness the magic of the dancing legend Prabhu Deva with the premiere of Naach Lucky Naach on 20th December at 5pm. It takes one act of cruelty to turn someone’s life upside down. Aatish The Weapon traces the journey of twins with absolutely distinct personalities, Anand and Divakar, played by Vijay Antony. Divakar’s life takes a dark turn when someone’s malefic intentions lead him to become the most feared Don. This action drama is directed by G. Srinivasan, with Vijay Antony playing a dual role, along with Diana Champika in a pivotal role. The film will be showcased on 18th December at 8 PM.

Naach Lucky Naach is a story about Lucky’s journey to her dream to win the National Dance competition while she’s born in a house where her mother isn’t in support of her passion. Vijay, starring Ditya Bhande as Lucky and the legendary Prabhudeva as Krishna along with Salman Yusuff Khan and Aishwarya Rajesh in pivotal roles, Naach Lucky Naach is an entertaining dance drama which makes you wonder – will Lucky fulfill her dream? Spreading the awareness around the need of the hour social message along with a power packed punch of dhamkedar entertainment is Zee Cinema’s World Television Premiere of the Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabangg 3’this Sunday, 25th October at 12 noon.

The channel kickstarted this with an OOH campaign for 7 days in Mumbai, Delhi & Ahmedabad to spread this message. Along with this, the channel also placed larger than life cutouts of Chulbul Pandey wearing a mask and distributed sanitizers and masks to people who weren’t wearing masks to create awareness in 6 cities (Lucknow, Varanasi, Meerut, Agra, Kanpur & Allahabad) in UP

But, that’s not all, the marketing blitzkrieg spills over social media as well with Zee Cinema putting forth an engaging activity asking loyalists to share their ‘mask wali selfie’ tagging Zee Cinema to spread the awareness further. In addition to this, Zee Cinema created a special video that celebrates and salutes the Dabangg police officers of our country who are 24×7 on their feet to ensure our safety. This video was released on ‘Police commemoration day’ and is being widely promoted on the channel’s social media platforms.

Speaking about being a part of the Dabangg franchise, Sonakshi Sinha said, “Dabangg is home to me, I started my career in the industry with this film and am glad to have been an integral part of this franchise as it grew.
