Bombay Sapphire Creative Lab takes inspiration from Taj Mahal for Saw This, Made this Global Campaign

Delhi, India – 22nd April 2024 – BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Creative Lab launches its global campaign, “Saw This, Made This” in India on World Creativity Day. Featuring city-inspired art installations and crafted cocktail experiences, the initiative celebrates India’s diverse artistic heritage. BOMBAY SAPPHIRE’S Creative Labs aims to inspire creativity within oneself.

At its core, this endeavor is about drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry & natural art of India, captured by Rohan Shresthaa and reimagined by Klove Studio. This campaign aims, whether it’s the iconic landmarks or the serene landscapes, there exists a wellspring of creativity waiting to be tapped into.

Rohan Shrestha embarks on a journey across India, not as a tourist, but as a creative hunter. He captures the beauty of Taj Mahal and delves deeper, seeking the vibrant nightlife along Mumbai’s Queen’s necklace. Even Goa’s Parra Road, known for its tall Palm trees and the pink-bloomed flowers of Bengaluru’s Cubbon Park, is seen through Shrestha’s unique lens, showcasing a kaleidoscope of colors and textures, waiting to be reimagined.

Meanwhile, within the walls of Klove Studios, a different kind of magic unfolds. Prateek Jain and Gautam Seth from Klove become the ‘makers’ in “Saw this, Made this’, reimagining Rohan’s vision into stunning art installations. This intriguing collaboration promises to redefine how we see the world around us and the potential to create extraordinary art hidden within.

ADIF leads an exclusive workshop on Digital Personal Data Protection Act

New Delhi, 18 January 2024: The Alliance of Digital India Foundation (ADIF), a leading policy think tank, successfully conducted a workshop titled “Law for Startups: Introduction to Digital Personal Data Protection Act” on January 13, 2024, at IIT Delhi. The symposium aimed to provide startups with a comprehensive understanding of the recently enacted Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and its implications on their operations. Attendees gained valuable insights through panel discussions, featuring distinguished experts in the field.

Established in 2020, ADIF stands as a pivotal industry body, championing India’s digital startups. ADIF operates as a Section 8 non-profit organization, catalyzing innovation and growth. Founded by industry luminaries such as Murugavel Janakiraman (Founder and CEO of Bharat Matrimony), Ajay Data (Founder and CEO, Data Group), Sairee Chahal (Founder and CEO, SHEROES), Snehil Khanor (Founder & CEO, Truly Madly), and Dr. Ritesh Malik (Founder, Innov8 Coworking), the organization is dedicated to steering India towards a prominent position in the digital landscape with a resolute focus on long-term prosperity.

The first panel, ‘Introduction to Digital Personal Data Protection Act’, featured Shri Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Ex-Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, alongside Shri Deepak Goel, DDG/ Scientist ‘G’, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and Shri Vikash Chourasia, Scientist ‘D’, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The session was skillfully moderated by Mr Saurabh Jain, Founder, Fun2Do Labs.

The second panel, ‘Digital Personal Data Protection Act for Startups’, brought together Mr Nikhil Pahwa, Founder of Medianama, Mr Abir Roy, Partner at Sarvada Legal, LLP and Mr. Na. Vijayashankar (Naavi), Data Protection and Data Governance Consultant. The session, moderated by Dr. Srinivas Yanamandra, Group Head – Regulatory Affairs and Policy, Paytm (One97 Communication Ltd), delved into the specific implications of the Act for startups.

Attendees had the unique opportunity to engage with the speakers, ask questions, and network with their peers. The workshop facilitated a dynamic exchange of ideas and practical insights, ensuring that startups left with a deeper understanding of how the Digital Personal Data Protection Act will shape their business practices.

Newly constructed Govt Raikal ZPHS School Block, at a cost of Rs 15 lakhs inaugurated

A newly constructed Government Raikal ZPHS School Block inaugurated on Saturday here in the outskirts of Hyderabad by Mr Anjaiah Yadav, MLA.

Mrs. Sabitha Indra Reddy, Minister and Prateek Jain, Joint Collector were to grace the inaugural nut couldn’t make due to unforeseen reasons.

Round Table Guest Ashish Sonthalia, Chairman of Area 9 and Vineet Tibrewala of Round Table-33 were guests of honour and graced the occasion.

The Round Table India’s “Freedom through Education” block of Zilla Parishad Govt school, Raikal village in the outskirts of the Hyderabad is constructed by Secunderabad Round Table-33 with the support from Oracle, Tipcon Capacitors. It is constructed at the cost of Rs 15 (fifteen lakh). It has two class rooms. On the whole it has 1400 sft area.

According to Mr. Gagan Marwah of Secunderabad Roud Table–33, a primary wing of Round Table India, this government run school currently has 300 students (171 boys and 129 girls) and imparts education in both English and Telugu medium for classes 6 to 10.

The school caters mostly to children from the farming and labour communities from the adjoining 4-5 villages, Gagan Marwah informed.

Round Table India through its initiative Freedom Through Education has been building one classroom a devery, everyday for the past 10years. It has taken up 3041 project, built 7141 classroom across India. It has build infrastructure to impact 80 lakh children in India. It has spent little over Rs 317 crore on all these projects put togehter so far.

According to Ashutosh, they have so far constructed 350 classrooms in Telangana and more in pipeline.

Round Table India has been raising funds to take up these projects. Every Rupee donated is used for Brick and Mortar construction… No Admin Costs are involved. The Administration cost is met by Members’ Annual Subscription Fees.
