Pacific Mall delights shoppers with Museum of Illusions

New Delhi: Pacific Mall Tagore Garden has brought for its shoppers a unique experience centre in association with ‘Museum of Illusions’, Delhi. The setup is placed in the centre of mall for shoppers to engage. Pacific Mall being the favourite retail and entertainment destination of Delhi keeps experimenting and presenting to its customers lucrative discounts, offers and shopping experiences.

The setup is assisted by 2 staff from the museum of illusions that will be assisting the visitors with the various illusions. This setup is only there till Independence Day. Customers who shop for 10K and 15K get a free ticket to visit ‘Museum of illusion’ for free in Connaught Place with vouchers and assured gifts like gadgets, cosmetics and perfumes. Around 600 shoppers have already participated and the activity continues to attract customers for grabbing best of shopping deals and discounts. The activity began in the month of August.

Elaborating on the mall’s efforts to curate one-of-a kind experiences for visitors Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group said, “We rolled out this experiential setup in the beginning of this month on Friendship Day, it was well-received by the shoppers. Comedian Parvinder Singh delivered a laughing riot at Pacific Mall

Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden hosted a humorous stand-up comedy special in association with The Entertainment Factory. The star of the evening was Parvinder Singh, popularly known as ‘Amritsar ka Gabru’, he is an engineer turned comedian who was also a finalist of the Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

Parvinder’s jokes are relatable and humorous; his stories in the special ‘Maine Karna Hai Ye’ come with a funny twist and make the audience laugh their hearts out. The event was attended by almost 100 people, it was a housefull show. Pacific Mall authorities however made sure all the distancing SOPs were followed; alternate seating arrangement was in place.

Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group shared his views upon hosting such events and said, “Comedy shows are the best pastime for every age groups, our idea is to give our visitors an entertaining ambience where they can simply relax with their family and friends. The lockdown had confined everybody in their homes, and limited options of entertainment. We are trying to bring back the good times with our efforts under strict safety guidelines.”

This International Women’s Day Pacific Mall Tagore Garden, Pearl Academy Delhi and the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) came together to curate a unique masterpiece of art and craftsmanship under the aegis of project Aahwan at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, which was inaugurated by Mrs. Veena Naravane, President, Army Wives Welfare Association, on Friday.

The décor symbolizes the five elements (Panchtatva) – Jala, Thala, Vayuhi, Akasa, and Jwala form the basis of all cosmic creation, and also represent the empowered women of today.

The uniqueness of the décor is the shadow box effect depicting each of the tatvas (elements) through various moods with associated colour themes which have been conceptualised by Ms. Ambika Magotra, Associate Dean, School of Creative Practice at Pearl Academy and represented alongside with mannequins depicting each of the elements, dressed in garments handcrafted by women working with AWWA under the guidance of Mrs. K. Lalitha Prasad, Chairperson AHAWAN and styled by students under the mentorship of faculties from Pearl Academy Delhi at premises of Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden.

Along with the décor elements, the project Aahwan featured the artists and entrepreneurs from AWWA and had on display a wide variety of paintings, garments, and handicrafts. Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group wishing the women said, “Our society and homes are very much dependent on women, and yet often we fail to acknowledge their efforts. With our décor we have tried appreciating their dedication and struggles in a unique and vibrant manner.”

Pacific Mall Tagore Garden redefines love this Valentine’s Day with dog adoption

Pacific Mall Tagore Garden in association with NGO People for Animals had organized a 2 day adoption drive from February 13-14 on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. The NGO has been known for promoting the idea of ‘be Indian, promote Indian. Therefore, in order to encourage the adoption of Indie street dog, the mall and NGO have hosted this drive.

There were around 10 dogs and puppies present at the mall premises.People for Animals follows two aspects before they let someone adopt a pup – the legality aspect and morality.The initial phase involves filling out a template with details like who will be the primary caregiver and if the apartment is a rented one or owned by the dog owner. Secondly, they have an MoU with non-negotiable terms like the custody of the pup has to be maintained by the person adopting and can’t be transferred to a relative or a neighbour.

Animals are very sensitive and seekers for love and care, with the organization of such events in our mall premises we are trying to extend them the affection they deserve. Pacific D-21 Mall’s hosts Women Cricket match

A women’s cricket match was organized at the newly launched Super Sports Park of Pacific Mall Dwarka- 21. An eight-over match was played between team Trends Warrior and Big Bazaar Superstrikers. Trends Warrior with 42 runs, with the loss of 5 wickets won the match against Big Bazaar Superstrikers who managed to score 38 runs with the loss of 2 wickets. Preeti Roy from team Trends Warrior has made 23 runs and was declared as ‘Woman of the Match’. Jyoti Mahour from Big Bazar Superstrikers has made 15 runs and taken 2 wickets.

Expressing his happiness on the occasion, Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director Pacific Group said, “It gives us great pleasure that we are able to host a cricket match for women players at our Sports Park. The players displayed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.”

The Sports Park has been designed with all the required amenities and is being sanitized on a regular basis to ensure complete safety. In the current fast-paced time, we all have so much to do and are constantly running behind our life- goals. It is very important that sports and games are included in our lifestyle so that we are able to strike a balance between mental, physical, and social wellness.

Pacific Malls organized wildlife awareness campaign ’For Nature for US’ in association with WWF India

New Delhi: Pacific D21 and Tagore Garden malls hosted a wildlife awareness campaign- ‘For Nature for US’ in association with World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF)- India. The campaign was a full day awareness activity in both the malls from 27th November 2020 to 07th December 2020. The aim of this activity was to connect with people and provide them the opportunity to contribute their part towards nature conservation, by spreading awareness about complex aspects of wildlife and nature conservation. The volunteers highlighted the need to protect wildlife for a sustainable, healthier, and resilient planet.

A Panda kiosk by the WWF India team at Pacific Mall in Dwarka (27th Nov-1st Dec) & Tagore Garden (3rd-7th Dec) was put up with brave Fundraising Pandas to motivate visitors to building a resilient, sustainable and healthy planet. It was a full day event and visitors at Pacific Mall were required to fill up an online survey form to have a deeper understanding of Wildlife and pandemics. Keeping all safety precautions in mind, public outreach activities organized helped the WWF team reach closer to the goal of letting nature and well-being thrive together.

Elaborating on the importance of awareness campaigns such as ‘For Nature for US’ and the pivotal role public spaces such as malls can play in this, Mr. Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Malls, said, “We are glad to be associated with WWF for such a noble cause, the pandemic has become a global concern and continue to take innocent lives on daily basis. Pacific Malls host Mega Draw, announce winners for Diwali campaign ‘Celebration toh Banta Hai’

Pacific Mall Tagore Garden and Pacific D21 Mall, Dwarka recently hosted the Diwali Mega Draw to announce the winners of Diwali campaign ‘Celebration Toh Banta Hai’.The felicitation ceremony took place on 22nd November and winners were declared via lucky draws held at both the malls.Dr. Bimal Badal Mohanty from Hari Nagar and Mr. Ajay Makkar from Sector 7 Dwarka were the lucky winners at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden and Pacific D21 Mall Dwarka respectively. The winners received an exciting prize of “Home Makeover by Home Centre”.Shoppers who made purchases in the brackets of INR 5000, 10000 & 20000 were eligible to participate in the mega draw by filling in raffle draw coupon.

Pacific Mall Diwali campaign- ’Celebration toh Banta hai’ was designed in a manner that every shopper received an assured gift. Gifts were given away in abundant variety from wallets, purses, laptop bags, cosmetic hampers, fashion accessories, electronic gadgets, cutlery sets, home decor and diamond pendants etc. Collectively both the malls gave away gifts worth 50 Lakhs to make giveaway festive joys grand for their patrons. Pacific Malls’ campaign received tremendous response and participation from shoppers amid festive cheer with 1000 and 1500 registrations being recorded at both the malls respectively.

On the occasion of the first anniversary, renowned shopping and entertainment destination Pacific D21 Mall organized a lucky draw for its customers. Three lucky customers won Diamond Pendants and others won consolation prizes. Super Sports Park launched for the sports lovers

A renowned shopping and entertainment destination at Sector 21 Dwarka, Pacific Mall has started a Super Sports Park for the sports-loving visitors of Dwarka and attachment areas. The newly launched initiative kickstarted with a football match (Freekick Football Arena) between Paschim Heroes and Dynamic Football Club. Paschim Heroes won the by 6–2; the next match will soon be played between the New Friends Club and Paschim Heroes. Apart from football and cricket, people can play other sports also in the park.
