The increased allocation for creating water and Gas pipeline infrastructure augurs well for the country. Also, the reduction in customs duty on certain steel products will check the rising steel prices in the domestic market and boost investment in the construction sector. Simplification of the tax regime is another important aspect of the budget, and this will make a preferred investment destination.”
