More Than 200 Individuals Participate in the Blood Donation Drive at Inorbit Mall, Malad

Mumbai, October 2020: Inorbit mall, Malad has found some new heroes from Mumbai who participated in the recently held blood donation drive. Addressing the importance of blood donation for the patients who are facing emergencies, Inorbit in association with Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SCNF) came together to conduct this noble initiative. Present at the event were Rev. Prashant Parab Ji (Kshetriya Sanchalak Kshetra No. 3, Mumbai), Rev. Jayant Kothawadekar Ji (Sanchalak – Malad), Rev. Shashikant Parab Ji (Co-ordinator Mumbai, Maharashtra) who not only donated blood but also urged the visitors to be a part of the initiative. The drive was well received with great response. 231 donors volunteered to donate blood and the collected units were sent to JJ Hospital and SCNF blood bank.

Mumbai, 30 September 2020: Keeping in mind the ever-increasing demand for blood donation towards ailing patients and emergency treatments, Inorbit mall, Malad is hosting a blood donation drive on 2nd October 2020, 11 am onwards at Entrance 2 of the mall next to Lifestyle. The drive is being hosted in association with Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation (SCNF) which has been organizing such camps since 1982. This donation drive will extend support to JJ Hospital and SCNF blood bank.

There is a need to spread awareness about the importance of blood donation and as responsible citizens, everyone should come forward and be a part of such noble campaigns. Keeping in mind the emergencies, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation has donated 1090980 units of blood with 6362 successful blood donation drives across India. This weekend be a part of this noble initiative and spread the message about the importance of blood donation.

Last weekend Inorbit Malad and some of the top brands like Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Clarks, Steve Madden, Skechers, Louis Philippe, LovGen, W, Colorbar, Chumbak and Crossword had put up their pop up stores within the premises of Suncity Phase 3 society in Kandivali, Mumbai. Offering the residents, fun-filled shopping experience and catering to their much-needed fashion demands this splendid new world of shopping opportunity was a two-day affair. This unique shopping experience was well received by the resident shoppers from the housing society.

One of the shoppers named Shruti said that ‘We are glad that the mall has come to us, as our parent’s don’t allow us to go to the mall considering the current situation outside. And this is the first time after 6months that we have shopping, it’s a great feeling. The stocks and the merchandise showcased
here are of great quality along with the offers that are available. Also, the presentation of the product’s and brands is nicely done. The safety precautions taken by each brand is also commendable, where-in they are asking each customer to sanitize their hands using the sanitizer provided before touching the merchandise. And the cleanliness of the area is also well maintained’.

This one of a kind store experience ensured that the society residents enjoyed a safe and special feeling of shopping within the premises of their housing society. This is the first time a mall in Mumbai has taken up such an initiative to offer the Inorbit experience and enable minimum contact during the shopping process. Inorbit and the retail brands ensured that all essential safety precautions were taken during the two-day shopping event.
