IIM Udaipur Invites Applications for One-Year MBA in Global Supply Chain Management for Experienced Professionals

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) invites applications for the one-year MBA in Global Supply Chain Management for experienced professionals. As India is poised to become a Global Supply Chain Hub, there is an increasing need for business managers who can manage complex supply chains spanning multiple nations that are essential for the global economy.

IIM Udaipur’s One Year MBA with intensive specialisation in Global Supply Chain Management is designed with the aim to develop future leaders in Global Supply Chain Management and Logistics. The program content includes live projects, industry interactions and offers career opportunities in companies across E-commerce, FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, and many more such domains.

Prof. Janat Shah, Director, IIM Udaipur, said, “Effective Supply Chain Management can provide companies with a major competitive advantage since all the large brands are moving towards global markets. IIMU’s GSCM program’s curriculum is uniquely conceived to equip students with business tools, global mindset and interpersonal skills to contribute towards the global supply chain community.”

IIM Udaipur has also created an Advisory Board for its Global Supply Chain Management program. This Board consists of highly experienced supply chain professionals from some of the leading companies including Infosys, Delhivery and DP world. The Board helps prepare both current and future managers in the supply chain management and logistics domain by providing insights on strategic initiatives and development plans.

Eligibility Criteria
• Minimum of 10+2 years of school education and 3 years of university education with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
• Valid GMAT/GRE score or CAT scores of tests from 2018 or later
• Minimum full-time work experience of 36 months as of March 31st, 2021

Selection Procedure
After completing the online application form, applicants are shortlisted on the basis of the eligibility criteria and called for the second round where they are screened through a personal interview. An offer of admission is made on the basis of a weighted score of the candidate’s demographic profile, academic profile, work experience, score in GMAT/GRE/CAT and personal interview.

IIM Udaipur Invites Applications for India’s only One Year Full Time MBA in Digital Enterprise Management

Indian Institute of Management Udaipur is inviting applications for the second batch of its path-breaking full-time one-year MBA program in Digital Enterprise Management (DEM). The DEM program is India’s only one-year, full-time MBA program for experienced professionals who wish to build or enhance their managerial career in the digital domain. It is aimed at equipping managers and leaders to work efficiently in the fast-changing and emerging digital business enterprises where conventional management concepts and leadership styles are found wanting. The DEM program develops a talent for digital business leadership and entrepreneurship.

This is a full-time, residential program, and admission is through the GMAT/GRE/CAT (2018 onward) exams. The DEM program requires candidates to be holding a graduate degree from a recognised University and 3+ years of work experience. Announcing the opening of the admission season, Prof. Janat Shah, Director, IIM Udaipur said, “The DEM program aims at developing Business Leaders who will drive the Digital Economy. It is the first MBA in the country in which students focus on learning how to manage digital systems and how to use those systems to make data-driven decisions.” He further mentioned that students would learn from academicians and industry practitioners through case studies, simulations, frameworks and lab projects that will prepare them to face the challenges of the emerging digital world.

Eligibility Criteria

• Valid GMAT or GRE score, or CAT score (taken in 2018 or later)
• Minimum full-time work experience of 36 months as of March 31, 2021

Applicants will be shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria and called for the second round where they will be screened through a personal interview. An offer of admission is made based on the candidate’s overall academic profile, work experience, score in GMAT/GRE/CAT and performance in the personal interview.

IIM Udaipur has an Academic Advisory Board for structuring this innovative program. The board constitutes of founders of successful digital companies in the country like Quikr’s Pranay Chulet and Info Edge India Ltd.’s Hitesh Oberoi.

Senior leaders from leading consulting, technology, consumer products and analytics companies including Accenture’s Ganesan Ramachandran, Deloitte’s Kamesh Mullapudi, STAR India’s Nitin Bawankule, IBM’s Sreejit Roy, Kimberly Clark’s K Harishankar, and Flipkart’s Ravi Vijayaraghavan are also members of the Advisory Board.

According to Prof Janat Shah, Director of IIM Udaipur, the B-school has already entered into multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with several leading and start-up companies across business verticals for sharing and development of knowledge in the digital world.
