EduCrack is organising a webinar on 11th June to guide students who want to do MBA for their higher studies. The different career options based on MBA will be discussed during the webinar. EduCrack is an EdTech platform that offers students the required assistance to prepare for competitive examinations, professional courses, and co-curricular courses.

 

Higher Studies can be a tough decision to make for the students as sometimes they want to change their fields and sometimes, they want to continue in the same fields. These decisions can change their lives forever. The Webinar organised by EduCrack will be helping the students who are thinking of choosing MBA for their higher studies. Mr.Rammohan, Chief Knowledge Officer, EduCrack, will be conducting the webinar for the young aspirants of the Management industry. He will be explaining the students the options which the students can explore for their specialisations and the roles which the specialisations will lead them to. The whole session will be a guided tour to the management industry.

IFMR GSB Opens Applications for MBA Batch 2021-23

IFMR Graduate School of Business (GSB) opens application for its two-year Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Program for the batch 2021-2023. IFMR GSB offers 22 core and approximately 55 elective courses in traditional areas such as Finance, Marketing, IT, Operations, HR, and Strategic Management as well as newer areas like Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Quantitative Finance, and Data Sciences (Business Analytics).

The last date to apply for the Early Decision Round (Round 1) is Feb 01, 2021.

According to Prof. Amit Das, Chairperson Admissions, at IFMR GSB, “This year we are offering three full (100% tuition scholarships) in addition to existing merit-cum-means scholarships and prizes for high achievers at the end of the first and second years of the curriculum.”

Students in the final year of their undergraduate degrees, as well as graduates with up to 36 months of work experience, are invited to apply. Candidates from Open and Distance Learning institutions are also eligible to apply.

“Despite a slowing economy, IFMR GSB managed to place its graduating cohort of 2018-20 in jobs with prestigious employers such as all Accenture, Bank of America, Barclays, Citi, Credit Suisse, CRISIL, Deloitte, Genpact, HCL, and KPMG at an average salary of INR 9.4 lakhs per annum” said Prof. Das.
Given the renewed focus on health-care, Krea University has recently tied up with Kauvery Hospitals to provide comprehensive care to campus residents through doctors, nurses, a pharmacy and a 24-hour ambulance service.

Applicants to IFMR GSB are required to take any of the following standardized entrance exams – CAT 2020 / XAT 2021 / CMAT 2021 / NMAT/ GMAT / GRE. The selection process consists of two rounds of applications for the MBA batch followed by a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interviews (PI).

IIM Udaipur Invites Applications for One-Year MBA in Global Supply Chain Management for Experienced Professionals

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU) invites applications for the one-year MBA in Global Supply Chain Management for experienced professionals. As India is poised to become a Global Supply Chain Hub, there is an increasing need for business managers who can manage complex supply chains spanning multiple nations that are essential for the global economy.

IIM Udaipur’s One Year MBA with intensive specialisation in Global Supply Chain Management is designed with the aim to develop future leaders in Global Supply Chain Management and Logistics. The program content includes live projects, industry interactions and offers career opportunities in companies across E-commerce, FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, and many more such domains.

Eligibility Criteria
• Minimum of 10+2 years of school education and 3 years of university education with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
• Valid GMAT/GRE score or CAT scores of tests from 2018 or later
• Minimum full-time work experience of 36 months as of March 31st, 2021

Selection Procedure
After completing the online application form, applicants are shortlisted on the basis of the eligibility criteria and called for the second round where they are screened through a personal interview. An offer of admission is made on the basis of a weighted score of the candidate’s demographic profile, academic profile, work experience, score in GMAT/GRE/CAT and personal interview.
