New Delhi: If your idea of Shivratri includes chanting “Om Namah Shivaya” while also vibing to a powerful bass drop, February 15, 2026, promises an unforgettable evening. The cricket grounds of JLN Stadium will transform into a high-energy devotional arena as Delhi hosts its Biggest Maha Shivratri Bhajan Jamming Night — a celebration that respectfully blends tradition with modern sound and spectacle.
Hosted by urban spiritual platform Via Veda, the event will open its gates at 5 PM, with music beginning at 6 PM. Positioned as a “Bhajan Clubbing Night,” the experience will seamlessly fuse classical Ganga Aarti, Shiva bhajans, immersive new-age kirtan, powerful percussion, and immersive light installations — creating a spiritually charged festival atmosphere under the open sky.
The Sound of Shiva
The evening will begin on a traditional note, gradually building into a full-fledged bhajan jamming crescendo. A synchronised, midnight-style collective chant of “Om Namah Shivaya” is expected to be the emotional high point, as thousands of voices merge into one powerful spiritual vibration.
The Performers
The stellar line-up includes an immersive kirtan band known for layering contemporary sounds over traditional chants.
Devotional powerhouse Suhas Sawant will mesmerise audiences with “Jai Mahakaal” and other soulful renditions.
Meanwhile, Gajendra Pratap Singh, known for Shiva anthems like “Kailash Mein Niwasi” and “Dulha Bane Hai Baba,” is set to turn the grounds into a sea of chanting devotees.
Beyond the Stage
The celebration goes beyond music. Attendees will be welcomed with vibhuti from Kashi Vishwanath Temple and 5 Mukhi Siddh Rudraksha from Pashupatinath Temple, along with prasad boxes. Guests will also receive a ₹100 complimentary wallet balance for astrology consultations on the Via Veda app and web platforms.
Open to ages 10 and above, the event aims to redefine how urban India celebrates faith — not merely as a quiet ritual, but as a shared cultural movement.
Conceptualised by Kajal Bihani, Founder of Via Veda, the initiative seeks to make Shivratri immersive and accessible for modern audiences without losing its spiritual core.
Reflecting on the vision behind the event, she said: “I,extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the Mahashivratri Bhajan Clubbing experience. Your devotion and collective energy transformed this evening into something far greater than an event — it became a shared spiritual awakening. I envision a future in which ancient knowledge can be integrated with modern living to support everyone on their spiritual journey.”
She added that this marks “just the beginning of a much larger movement to reimagine how our generation experiences spirituality.”
This Shivratri, Delhi won’t choose between tradition and trend — it will experience both on one unforgettable stage.
