Gurugram: Liza Varma, Founder of Liza Varma Academy hosted a get together at Whisky Samba, Gurgaon with Meghana and Ashish Kapur to celebrate the crowning of her student – Manika Sheokand, as VLCC Femina Miss India Grand 2020.
Liza is a well known Show Director, a former Miss India herself and Model and Actor. She started the Academy in 2017 after she saw grand success with her former student Manushi Chillar who won both the titles – Miss India and Miss World 2017, making India proud.
As she says, “My mission is to take Indian Talent and make Indian Fashion Go Global”, adding “I am here to groom and motivate my students to make their dream turn into reality, we give a platform to deserving youngsters keen on entering the Fashion, Film and Glamour world… and to see that they are adequately prepared to face the spotlight”.

To show support and to wish Manika future success for the forthcoming Grand International, the evening was attended by well known names from the Fashion Fraternity Yuri Suri, Sachin Khurana, Pravin Dabbas, Ayush Mehra , Manoj and Vandy Mehra SBJ, Shalini Arora Kochar
