Sunsure Energy commissions 105 MWp solar plant in Mahoba; kicks off Uttar Pradesh’s first green power evacuation under Green Energy Corridor-II

Kabrai Project, commissioned in record 4 months, takes Sunsure’s operational capacity in UP to 365 MWp

NEW DELHI, May 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sunsure Energy, India’s preferred Round-the-Clock renewable energy solutions provider for leading businesses and utilities, today announced that it has commissioned the 105 MWp project in Uttar Pradesh’s Mahoba District in record 4 months from PPA signing. The project is the first solar project to evacuate green power under the state government’s Green Energy Corridor-II (GEC-II) project — a landmark milestone in Uttar Pradesh’s clean energy transition.

The project, located in Kabrai village, is the Company’s 11th plant in the state. Spread across 282 acres, it is connected to the grid through a dedicated 7-km, 132 kV transmission line and will generate over 16.7 crore units of clean power annually — enough to meet the electricity needs of nearly 1.4 lakh Indian households for a year, offsetting approximately 1.2 lakh tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually and close to 3 million tonnes over its lifetime.

Green Energy Corridor-II project refers to the Uttar Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (UPPTCL)’s investment of nearly Rs 5,400 crore to construct 21 substations and associated transmission infrastructure to evacuate close to 4,000 MW of solar power from the Bundelkhand region. The successful evacuation of solar power from Sunsure’s Kabrai plant — through the newly energised 220 kV Kabrai substation — marks the first time green power has flowed through this corridor, setting a precedent for the projects that will follow.

Speaking at the commissioning of the project, Mr. Shashank Sharma, Founder, Chairman & CEO, Sunsure Energy said, “India’s clean energy transition is inseparable from its manufacturing ambitions. As India builds out its capacity across multiple sectors, UP’s ambition to integrate clean energy with multiple manufacturing clusters within the state, sets a very clear benchmark. We are delighted to be a part of the state’s clean energy story and immensely grateful to the state government, UPPTCL and our partners who have helped us build the renewable assets which allow Indian industry to grow without compromising on its climate commitments.”

With the commissioning of this project, Sunsure now has 11 facilities and 365 MWp capacity operational in Uttar Pradesh. Through its UP Shakti initiative started in 2023, the Company is looking to expand its footprint and deepen its engagement in the state further to 500 MW of operational capacity by the end of FY26 by when its 125 MW/ 500 MWh Battery Energy Storage Project will be commissioned. Sunsure Energy currently supplies power to some of the biggest industrial consumers in India like LG Electronics, Kajaria Ceramics, Jindal Stainless, Dabur, and Bisleri, among others.

About Sunsure Energy:

Government of Telangana Launches Incubator Programme by SERP to Scale 300 Rural Women-Led Enterprises Across the State

Government of Telangana Launches Incubator Programme by SERP to Scale 300 Rural Women-Led Enterprises Across the State

₹21.40 crore initiative under DAY-NRLM to provide incubation, mentoring, grants, zero-interest soft loans, market linkages and enterprise growth support to SHG women entrepreneurs

Hyderabad, May 30: In a landmark step towards strengthening rural women entrepreneurship and building a scalable enterprise ecosystem in Telangana, the Government of Telangana today launched the Incubator Programme by SERP Telangana under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) at Komaram Bheemu Adivasi Bhavan, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

The programme is being implemented by the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Government of Telangana, in partnership with BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus and T-Hub Foundation  as incubator partners, with WE Hub Foundation serving as the technical and implementation support agency.

The initiative marks a significant milestone for Telangana as a structured, mission-driven intervention to identify, support and scale 300 growth-oriented SHG women-led rural enterprises across the state. With a total outlay of ₹21.40 crore, the programme combines enterprise incubation with direct financial support, including ₹8.74 crore for incubation support and ₹12.66 crore for direct enterprise financing through grants and zero-interest soft loans.

The launch ceremony was graced by Smt. Dansari Anasuya Seethakka Garu, Hon’ble Minister for Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women and Child Welfare, Government of Telangana. The event also witnessed the participation of Smt. Divya Devarajan, IAS, CEO, SERP Telangana and Commissioner, Panchayati Raj & Rural Development; Shri P. W. Johnson, Director Non-Farm, SERP; Prof. D. Sriram, Director, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus; Mr. Kavikrut, CEO, T-Hub Foundation; Ms. Sita Pallacholla, CEO, WE Hub Foundation; SHG women entrepreneurs, Zilla Samakhya representatives, ecosystem partners and government officials.

As part of the official launch, the programme website, handbook and poster were unveiled, symbolising the beginning of a state-wide enterprise acceleration journey for rural women entrepreneurs.

Designed as a comprehensive enterprise growth platform, the programme will provide support across the complete business journey  from mobilisation, screening and enterprise diagnostics to structured incubation, mentorship, capacity building, branding, packaging, compliance readiness, financial linkages, market access, e-commerce onboarding and performance monitoring.

A major component of the initiative is the Challenge Fund mechanism, through which selected women-led enterprises will receive catalytic support in the form of grants and zero-interest soft loans. This support is expected to help enterprises strengthen production capacity, improve quality, adopt technology, expand operations and access wider markets.

The programme aims to enable supported enterprises to achieve at least 15% year-on-year revenue growth, improve business sustainability and generate an estimated 300 to 500 rural jobs across Telangana. It also seeks to create a replicable rural enterprise acceleration model that can strengthen women-led livelihoods and contribute to inclusive economic development.

Speaking at the launch, dignitaries highlighted the importance of transforming SHG women from livelihood participants into enterprise leaders. The programme reflects the Government of Telangana’s larger vision of enabling women-led economic transformation and supporting rural women entrepreneurs to become drivers of prosperity, employment and wealth creation.

Speaking at the Launch Smt. Dansari Anasuya Seethakka Garu Hon’ble Minister for Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women and Child Welfare, Government of Telangana

“Under the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s vision of ‘Koti Mahilalu Koteeswarulu’, Telangana is committed to placing women at the centre of economic growth. When women grow, families grow, communities grow, and the economy grows. This Incubator Programme is a powerful opportunity for SHG women entrepreneurs to improve their income, scale their businesses and contribute to the state’s development. We do not want women to remain job seekers; we want them to become job creators. Our businesses may begin locally, but our vision must be global. From 300 enterprises today, we must think of reaching 30,000 women entrepreneurs in the coming years.”

Speaking at the Launch Smt. Divya Devarajan, IAS CEO, SERP Telangana and Commissioner, Panchayati Raj & Rural Development

“The women here are businesswomen and job creators. It is our responsibility to support 300 strong women-led enterprises and make this programme successful. With SERP’s grassroots strength and the support of T-Hub, BITS Pilani and WE Hub, we are committed to helping rural women entrepreneurs scale from local ideas to successful enterprises”

Speaking at the Launch Prof. D. Sriram, Director, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus

“We are happy to be part of this purpose-driven collaboration with SERP Telangana. This programme will ignite momentum in rural enterprise by helping local ideas grow through incubation, mentoring and structured support into scalable and sustainable businesses.”

Speaking at the Launch Mr. Kavikrut, CEO, T-Hub Foundation

“Women entrepreneurs from rural Telangana have strong potential to build and scale. Through this programme, we encourage them to think like startups, strengthen their business models and scale up with confidence.”

Speaking at the Launch Ms. Sita Pallacholla, CEO, WE Hub Foundation

“This programme reflects a meaningful convergence between the Information Technology, Electronics & Communications and Industries & Commerce Department and the Panchayati Raj & Rural Development Department of the Government of Telangana. SERP has already built a strong grassroots ecosystem through SHG women and community institutions, and WE Hub is proud to bring complementary support in entrepreneurship, branding, mentorship, market access and business readiness. This collaboration is a worthwhile step towards helping rural women-led enterprises move from local business activity to sustainable and scalable growth opportunities.”

The event also featured voices from grassroots women entrepreneurs and Zilla Samakhya representatives, who shared their expectations from the programme and their aspirations for enterprise growth. Their participation reflected the strength, resilience and entrepreneurial potential emerging from Telangana’s rural communities. The launch of the Incubator Programme is not merely the beginning of an enterprise support project; it is a strategic step towards creating a new generation of rural women business leaders in Telangana.

During FY26, the Company reported Revenue from Operations of ₹230.45 crore as compared to ₹235.75 crore in FY25. Revenue performance during the year was impacted by temporary disruptions in travel activity arising from geopolitical developments, including the India-Pakistan conflict following Operation Sindoor and the evolving crisis in the Middle East, which resulted in deferment and rescheduling of certain travel programmes and international movements.

Despite these challenges, the Company delivered resilient profitability. PAT margin expanded to 6.5% in FY26 from 6.0% in FY25. The improvement was driven by better project execution, prudent cost control measures and an increasing contribution from higher-value business segments.

    – Strengthened its MICE order pipeline through multiple programme wins from various groups across Oceania, collectively valued at approximately ₹32 crore and involving 950–1,000 delegates, with execution planned for Q1 FY27. The project provides strong revenue visibility for the coming year. As part of project mobilisation, advance payments were made towards vendor commitments during FY26, resulting in higher loans and advances as at March 31, 2026. The corresponding billing was completed in April 2026 and the financial impact of the project will be reflected in the Q1 FY27 financial statements.
    – Dubai international travel management project valued at approximately ₹10 crore involving around 1,200 participants.
    – Mumbai MICE movement valued at approximately ₹8.45 crore involving approximately 1,600 participants.
  • Introduced enterprise travel management as a strategic growth vertical through the launch of the Company’s technology-enabled Self-Booking Tool (SBT), offering policy-based travel governance, multi-level approvals, MIS reporting, analytics and automated travel processing capabilities for corporate clients.
  • Expanded operational capabilities and workforce significantly during the year while strengthening presence across key markets including Noida, New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
  • Continued investments in the development of MachTravel.com, the Company’s upcoming retail travel platform focused on B2C, holidays, leisure travel and spiritual tourism.

Commenting on the performance, Mr. Amit Bhatia, Chairman & Managing Director, Mach Travel Solutions Limited, said:

“FY26 has been a defining year in our journey as we continued our transformation from a MICE-focused organisation into a diversified and technology-enabled travel solutions platform. Alongside strengthening our core business, we expanded into government projects, enterprise travel management, institutional travel and several emerging travel segments. All in all FY26 was year of investments for future growth.

Even amid temporary disruptions arising from Operation Sindoor and geopolitical developments in the Middle East, we improved our EBITDA and PAT margins, reflecting the strength of our operating model and our focus on disciplined execution and profitability.

Scale, Cash Flow and Capacity Drive NMDC to Record FY26 Performance

Scale, Cash Flow and Capacity Drive NMDC to Record FY26 Performance

Hyderabad, 29 May 2026: State-owned iron ore major NMDC capped FY26 with its strongest operational and financial performance to date, as robust production growth and disciplined execution helped the company scale new highs across key performance indicators.

With iron ore production climbing 21% to a record 53.16 million tonnes and sales rising 13% to 50.24 million tonnes in FY26, NMDC delivered the highest-ever annual volumes in its history. The twin milestones signal both resilient domestic steel demand and the expanding capabilities of India’s largest iron ore producer.

The surge in production and dispatches fed directly into NMDC’s financial performance, with turnover growing by 33% to an all-time high of Rs. 31,554 crore for FY26. EBITDA rose 9% to Rs. 10,737 crore, while profit before tax rose 9% to Rs. 10,155 crore and net profit increased 11% to Rs. 7,421 crore.

NMDC reported capital expenditure of ₹3,690 crore for FY26, while continuing to deliver healthy shareholder returns. The Board recommended a final dividend of Re 1 per share, subject to shareholder approval. Together with the interim dividend of Rs. 2.5 per equity share declared for FY26, the total dividend for the year amounts to Rs. 3,077 crore.

NMDC delivered a strong finish to FY26 with a standout Q4 performance, marked by broad-based growth across production, sales and financial metrics. Iron ore production rose 22% year-on-year to 16.27 million tonnes, while sales increased 21% to 15.30 million tonnes.

The robust volume growth translated into a sharp expansion in financial performance, with turnover surging 61% to Rs. 11,173 crore. Profit before tax rose 22% to Rs. 2,875 crore, while profit after tax increased 35% to Rs. 2,020 crore, supported by improved realisations and steady operational efficiency. EBITDA grew 21% to Rs. 3,072 crore, rounding off a quarter that reinforced NMDC’s dominance in the sector.

Scale, Cash Flow and Capacity Drive NMDC to Record FY26 Performance

“With record production, topline growth, strategic capital deployment and stronger financial metrics across the board, NMDC closed FY26 with a momentum that places us in a distinctly higher league among India’s large public sector enterprises. We are determined to sustain this volume growth, enhance asset productivity and build future-ready mining capacity” said Shri Amitava Mukherjee, CMD, NMDC.

This performance reflects a transition underway within the company, from being primarily a high-cash-flow mining PSU to emerging as a larger-scale, capital-intensive resource enterprise with expanding operational and financial heft.

(Chicago, Illinois – May 2026) – Humanscale, the leader in high-performance ergonomic design, will return to Fulton Market Design Days 2026 with a showcase centered on the
future of adaptable, human-centered environments. Presented during the industry’s leading commercial interiors event, Humanscale’s exhibition will highlight solutions designed to support flexibility, wellness, and productivity across today’s evolving workplaces as well as hospitality and residential environments. Guided by the theme “Body. Planet. Materials.,” the presentation will explore the interconnected relationship between human wellbeing,  sustainable innovation, and the future of materiality in design.

A major component of the presentation will be a museum-style exhibition exploring Next Generation Materials and the future of sustainable manufacturing. Centered on the belief that the future of design depends on materials that support both human wellbeing and planetary health, the installation will showcase emerging innovations that transform waste into resources and biology into manufacturing. The exhibit will examine how these advanced materials can reduce reliance on virgin extraction while opening new possibilities for high-performance, environmentally responsible design.

Expanding on the “Body. Planet. Materials.” concept, the exhibition will also feature conversations and activations developed in collaboration with leading sustainability organizations including the International Living Future Institute (ILFI), Design for Freedom, and mindful MATERIALS, further reinforcing Humanscale’s commitment to transparency, material health, and ethical manufacturing practices across the built environment.

Among the featured products will be Diffrient Lounge, one of the final concepts envisioned by legendary designer Niels Diffrient and recently honored with a Red Dot Design Award in Product Design. Blending residential comfort with advanced ergonomic engineering, the lounge chair reimagines how people work, relax, and connect within hybrid environments.

Motorized adjustments, integrated power, and an adaptable worksurface create a seamless experience that responds intuitively to the body while maintaining a refined, minimalist

Building on this platform, Humanscale will debut eFloat Quattro Studio, a purpose-built meeting table designed specifically for today’s hybrid collaboration environments. Optimized for small-group meetings of two to seven people, eFloat Quattro Studio integrates connectivity, power, and display support directly into the table itself, simplifying meeting environments while enabling organizations to deploy collaborative spaces quickly and efficiently without complex AV infrastructure, permanent room builds, or extensive installation requirements.

Designed to support both seated and standing collaboration, the solution creates flexible meeting environments that adapt seamlessly across open-office huddle spaces, executive offices, project review areas, and hybrid meeting rooms.

The presentation will also feature M/Charge, Humanscale’s new modular 2-in-1 magnetic wireless charging solution designed to integrate with the M/Connect 3 ecosystem while also functioning as a standalone charging dock. Supporting simultaneous dual-device charging through Qi2 and MagSafe-compatible technology, M/Charge delivers fast, efficient charging with magnetic alignment, flexible viewing angles, and a weighted metal base engineered for stability and effortless one-handed use. Designed for modern workspaces, hospitality settings, and residential environments alike, the solution reflects Humanscale’s continued focus on intuitive functionality, seamless integration, and reduced desktop complexity.

Humanscale’s presence at Fulton Market Design Days will further underscore its broader commitment to sustainability and purposeful innovation. As the only major commercial
furniture manufacturer in the United States certified as a B Corp, Humanscale will continue to develop products and processes that prioritize both human health and environmental responsibility through a net positive design approach that integrates material transparency, reduced environmental impact, and long-term product longevity.
