GO FIRST carries oxygen concentrators for NGOs

Mumbai: GO FIRST (formerly known as GoAir) ferried oxygen concentrators in collaboration with NGO – the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad and provided its valuable contribution in the selfless efforts to provide the much needed medical support to the efforts of Rotary Club. The consignment landed at Patna airport and the delivery was taken by NGO – the Rotary Club of Patliputra.

Speaking on the initiative, Kaushik Khona, CEO, GO FIRST, said: “Every small step helps in contributing to the nation’s fight against this unprecedented pandemic.”

GO FIRST was amongst the first Domestic Airline in transporting COVID vaccines in India. Recently, the company also announced its drive to vaccinate all its employees and bear the cost of the same.”

Acer Donates Oxygen Concentrators to help India fight COVID-19 crisis

Mumbai: Acer, one of the leading global technology brands, today announced that it is donating oxygen concentrators help India fight the COVID-19 crisis. Leveraging its global presence, the company is procuring oxygen concentrators for India at this time of need and the first batch of oxygen concentrators has arrived in the country for immediate distribution.

Commenting about the contribution, Mr. Harish Kohli, President & MD, Acer India, said, “While the doctors and hospitals are doing everything, they can save precious lives, the country also needs an immediate and coordinated response from every corporate to render whatever help they can. As a company who has been in India for over two decades it is our responsibility to come to the need of the nation at a time like this. We hope the oxygen concentrators supplied by Acer will go in some way to help provide this life-saving treatment to critical COVID-19 patients.”

Apart from this Acer India has also contributed oxygen cylinders to NGOs who run COVID-19 healthcare centres including all the expenses for continuous re-filling of the cylinders which has enabled them to save lives.

To fight COVID-19, Chahal Foundation distributes Oxygen Concentrators in Delhi and Punjab

The Chahal Foundation, a non-profit organisation that works towards creating awareness of social causes, university scholarships and mentorships, supporting disaster relief efforts, improving schools in third world countries, and building awareness to eradicate child sex trafficking is extending its help to fight the 2nd wave of COVID-19.
Extending its support to fight the life-threatening virus, The Chahal Foundation has stepped up to provide oxygen concentrators to hospitals, NGOs, and COVID treatment centers in Delhi-NCR, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Mohali, Bathinda amongst others.

“The country is facing a huge scarcity of oxygen cylinders and concentrators. The associates of patients are begging and pleading for oxygen to save the lives of loved ones. The team of 20 volunteers headed by Mr. Gurbaksh Chahal is working tirelessly to provide basic support to people. The organisation has previously run various donation drives and extended support in providing COVID resources like test kits, masks, respirators, plasma donation, fundraisers, etc.

“We are under deep crisis, innumerable human lives are at stake, we all must come together and help those in need by doing our bit,” Chahal further adds.
