Signature Global organizes week-long online Yoga sessions

Gurugram: Amidst the pandemic and health concerns, Signature Global, a leader in affordable housing, organized a Yoga week from June 14to June 21 for the well-being of its residents, staff, and channel partners. The half-an-hour online yoga classes were conducted by eminent Yoga instructor Alok Sharma from Studio Yoga Elements.

As the International Day of Yoga was observed on 21st June2021, the Yoga Week spread awareness in people about the benefits of making it a regular practice in life. Being conducted at 7 am, the activity aimed at helping the people de-stress and gain mental and physical well-being. “We are dedicated towards providing a healthy lifestyle to the residents and people working with us. Yoga is a time-tested therapy for overall well-being, and the current situation calls for a serious deliberation on the way we spend our time. The half-an-hour session by the eminent yoga instructor with experience of more than 10 years of teaching yoga across the globe helped people rejuvenate,” said Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman – Signature Global Group & Chairman – ASSOCHAM National Council on Real Estate, Housing and Urban Development.

Signature Global has been engaged in taking care of vaccination and wellness needs of the people attached to it – be it labor on various sites or other employees. The company formed an internal core helpline team during the lockdown to help staff and their families round the clock, provided 24 hours doctor helpline service, arranged Ambulance service, Oxygen cylinders and plasma wherever needed, distributed vitamin supplements among labour, provided new oxymetres and thermal scanners at sites. The company also distributed meals among the needy during the lockdown in New Delhi.

To stop the chain of COVID and relax the people around, the company also organized an online Corona stress management program by Hari Naam Dasji from ISKCON. The company carried out a vaccination drives in their Office premises and delivered projects sites for staff and residents respectively.

Free Health check-up camp held at Signature Global Park

Signature Global Foundation organized a free health check-up camp and awareness program for its laborers and other marginalized people at Signature Global Park 2 & 3, sector 36, Sohna Road, South of Gurugram. More than 1000 people (in groups of 50 with social distancing) benefitted by this initiative. The event was focused on Women health and hygiene awareness where free medications and free sanitary napkins were distributed among them. Signature Global believes in empowering women physically and mentally not just in society but especially in Housing. The Haryana Government also prioritizes women when it comes to the home ownership under Haryana Affordable Housing Policy.

Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder and Chairman Signature Global Group said, “These workers stood by us during the lockdown and pandemic and we have been taking care of them all along but a proper health check-up and basic medications, especially for women are important from time to time. We believe that everyone should take care of his/her health and such initiatives will be taken in future too.”

The aim of organizing this camp was to help early diagnostics and create awareness about personal hygiene and healthcare among the labour”, he added.

On the occasion, the Beauty Queens (winners) of Mrs. India legacy 2019 by Diadem took sessions with the women workers to spread awareness among the women workers about hygiene through an awareness movie and counselled them.

The camp included free check-up for the all including CBC, blood Sugar test, generic medicine etc. after the consultations and check-ups, free refreshments were distributed among them.

Signature Global conducts E-draw of Golf Greens 79 and Orchard Avenue 2

Signature Global, the pioneers of affordable housing, held an e-draw for their projects Golf Greens 79, sector 79, Gurugram and Orchard Avenue 2, sector 93, Gurugram at The Pllazio Hotel, Sector-29, Gurugram. The event was successfully conducted in the presence of Senior HUDA officials. Signature Global Group followed all the safety norms including social distancing and sanitization to prevent the global pandemic COVID-19. The e-draw was live on YouTube for those who wanted to attend the same from their home. For Golf Greens 79, during the e-draw of Flats, 852 units were allotted as against 1632 applications as it was oversubscribed by the people. During the re-draw of Orchard Avenue 2, 278 units were allotted against 315 applications. In the last three months, Signature Global has executed e-draws of five projects. In these five projects, the total number of units was 3169 against which around 13927 applications were received.
