As malls open up, Bajaj Foundation joins hands with DLF and Fortis Escorts to make Covid Vaccination accessible to mall visitors

New Delhi, June 20, 2021: In an effort to further vaccinate Indians faster and to steer clear of the third wave, Bajaj Foundation, a non-profit organization, has partnered with Fortis Escorts to start another COVID-19 vaccination drive at DLF Avenue Saket, New Delhi. The drive aims to normalise the vaccine experience with the comfort of visiting the mall with your loved ones.

The vaccination drive will start from today, June 20 and will be on till June 27, 2021 between 11 am to 6 pm at DLF Avenue, Saket where both doses of Covishield & 2nd dose of Covaxin will be administered to any walk-ins for 18 years and above. The entire vaccination process is being held in the presence of a team of medical experts including doctors and a medical ambulance service.

The registration can also be done via the website http://bajaj.foundation/vaccination/ in addition to the mandatory Cowin registration.

Speaking about the drive, Mr. Pankaj Bajaj, Founder-Bajaj Foundation said, “Our vaccine drives aim to support the vaccine ecosystem in getting India vaccinated faster. Malls are a happy place for people so this drive creates comfort for visitors and encourages them to get vaccinated. We are normalizing the vaccination experience in an endeavor to steer clear of the third wave. The vaccine centre is now operational at DLF Avenue Mall in Delhi with Fortis Healthcare administering the vaccinations.”

Earlier this month, Bajaj foundation had partnered with Max Healthcare to administer the COVID-19 vaccine at Arya Samaj Mandir, New Friends colony, New Delhi. The Foundation has also provided two hundred thousand meals through a COVID-19 Food Drive, has been providing oxygen concentrators, food to animals, sanitizers, mask and assisted people with hospital beds.

Bajaj Foundation partners with Max Healthcare to accelerate the Covid-19 vaccination drive in the national capital region

New Delhi, June 12th, 2021: Continuing its commitment towards Covid-19 relief and in an effort to further accelerate the vaccination drive, Bajaj Foundation, a non-profit organization, has partnered with Max Healthcare to administer the COVID-19 vaccine in the national capital region. The initiative is aimed at drawing more and more people to get vaccinated and contribute to the ongoing fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in India.

The vaccination drive begins on June 12 and will be on till June 16 between 10 am – 5 pm at Arya Samaj Mandir, New Friends Colony, Delhi, where the second dose of Covaxin and both doses of Covishield are available. The registration can be done via Bajaj Foundation’s website or through walk-in slots in addition to mandatory Cowin registration.

Speaking about the drive, Mr. Pankaj Bajaj, Founder-Bajaj Foundation said, “Our goal right now is to enhance Delhi’s vaccination process and encourage people to get vaccinated at the earliest. The drive will take place in many more locations in and around Delhi in the upcoming weeks and easing the pressure on government vaccination facilities. We at Bajaj Foundation believe that each one of us has to contribute and work together to be stronger together and overcome this emergency through collaborative efforts and getting vaccinated”.

Last month, Bajaj foundation had started an emergency oxygen program by providing free doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrators across Delhi-NCR and has already impacted lives across the national capital region. In addition to this, the foundation also deployed supplies including oxygen concentrators, medicines, ration, and other pet care provisions to assist the state of Goa, hugely affected by cyclone Tauktae and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bajaj Foundation has also provided a hundred thousand meals through a COVID-19 Food Drive in partnership with Khoya. Free meals are being prepared at the Khoya Mithai Kitchen and are being delivered on a daily basis. The Foundation has also been providing other medical supplies including hand sanitizers and face masks to the affected families.

Bajaj Foundation to strengthen COVID-19 relief efforts, expand free doorstep delivery of Oxygen concentrators beyond Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: As the coronavirus cases continue to rise unabated in various parts of the country, Bajaj Foundation, a non-profit organization, started an emergency oxygen program by providing free doorstep delivery of oxygen concentrators across Delhi-NCR and has already impacted lives across the national capital region. In an effort to reach out to more people in need of oxygen and to match the growing necessity, the foundation is scaling up the program across cities and is looking at reducing the response time for a hassle free experience across the country.

As part of the program, in case of an emergency where the Spo2 is below 90, the service will offer O2 at your doorstep free of charge for 72 hours on a refundable security deposit. A professional service will also be provided to not only deliver and set up the concentrators, but also collect back the machines from the users once they have recovered and no longer need them. The program came into effect last week with the ease of ordering O2 through a helpline number, an email or Bajaj Foundation’s website.
