Kerala Energy Tech Startup chargeMOD Expands its EV Charging Network, Partners with A Plus Charge

Kochi, May 10, 2024: Kerala-based energy tech startup and leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions chargeMOD, and A Plus Charge, a Guwahati-based company at the forefront of EV charging infrastructure in Assam, announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the deployment of 1000 plus EV charging stations across North East India. With the incorporation of over 1000 new chargers, chargeMOD’s network will expand to a total of 4200 chargers across India. This encompasses 2000 chargers already in operation, along with 1200 recently announced charging stations.

This collaboration between chargeMOD and A Plus Charge will significantly expand EV charging accessibility in North East India. chargeMOD’s proven track record in network establishment and technological expertise will be combined with A Plus Charge’s local knowledge and experience in the North East market.

Omaxe partners with Jio-bp to set up EV charging & swapping infrastructure

Omaxe, one of India’s leading real estate developers today announced its partnership with Jio-bp, a fuel and mobility joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and bp, to establish a battery charging ecosystem for electrical vehicles. Jio-bp will set up EV charging and swapping infrastructure at various Omaxe properties across Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, New Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Patiala, Amritsar, Jaipur, Sonipat and Bahadurgarh in a phased manner.

Trehan Iris, a veteran and leading real estate player has partnered with BOLT, India’s largest EV Charging Network, to set up 10 EV charging stations in Iris Tech Park in Sohna Road and Iris Broadway Mall in Sec- 85-86, Gurugram. The BOLT – Trehan Iris partnership will provide EV users access to charging infrastructure while they are at the technology park. With this partnership, the companies plan to install the BOLT EV charging solution in more locations at their project.

According to the MoU signed, BOLT will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the charging stations. Facilitating the ease of locating the nearest charging station, the BOLT app will enable users to navigate the nearest charging station from their location. The app will also provide other details like rate per hour, station availability, charger health, slots availability for pre-booking, and owner contact details. Based on the pay and use model, the charging stations would be available as per the timings of the venue i.e., Iris Tech Park and Iris Broadway. As per the requirement, customers can decide the duration of the charging, and once payment is done, the charging will start and the BOLT device will stop the charging once the set duration is completed. This will benefit thousands of visitors at Iris Broadway, Gurugram every day who can get their electric vehicle charged while they relish the time in shopping, dining, and entertaining activities.
