Puri, Sept. 22 (UDN): Devotees visiting the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri will face a six-hour restriction on public darshan on Wednesday, September 23, due to the observance of the Bamana Janma Niti, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) said.

The special ritual will be conducted on the occasion of Bhadraba Shukla Dwadashi tithi, as part of the temple’s scheduled religious observances.
Darshan To Remain Closed From 5 PM
According to an SJTA notice, public darshan of the sibling deities will be suspended following the Dwiprahara Dhupa ritual. The restriction will remain in force from 5 pm to 11 pm on September 23.
The temporary suspension has been imposed to facilitate the conduct of the Bamana Janma ritual inside the temple.
Devotees Asked To Plan Visits
The temple administration has advised devotees to take the scheduled darshan restriction into account while planning their visit to Srimandir on Wednesday.
Public darshan is expected to resume after the completion of the stipulated ritual period.
