Thiruvananthapuram: A state-of-the-art maintenance hemodialysis facility is now operational at SP Medifort Hospital, Eanchakkal, to treat chronic kidney disease patients.
The facility is equipped with the latest imported dialysis machines, supported by AAMI-standard RO water systems, ensuring safe & high-quality treatment. Designed for round-the-clock operation, it offers both single-use and reusable dialyzer options, making it accessible to patients at affordable rates.
A team of expert nephrologists and trained dialysis technicians is available 24×7 to oversee dialysis procedures. Dr Vidhya K Zachariah, MD (Gen. Medicine), DNB (Gen. Medicine), DM (Nephrology), Consultant – Nephrology highlighted that, advanced treatments such as SLED (Sustained Low-Efficiency Dialysis), CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), peritoneal dialysis, and plasmapheresis are also offered at the facility.
