Shubham to host Yatra 2022
Shubham, a School of Performing Arts, is celebrating 12 years of our journey with dance and music, through Yatra 2022. Yatra is our annual festival, and this being a milestone year for us, we are celebrating it in two phases. Part 1 of Yatra ’22 shall be presented on September 18th, in two sessions 2 pm – 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm, at ‘Damaru’ in the beautiful premises of the Shankaraa Foundation on Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru.
In the first session, we shall be presenting a Sitar recital by Shri Subrata De as inauguration and then present our in-house production, Pareshti ( in search of) by the Shubham Dance Ensemble based on Subrata Ji’s music ‘Ganga, a journey called life. In the second session, we have guest performers Smt. Anjana Moyee Saikia ( Sattriya) from Assam and Smt. Vandana Supriya (Odissi) from Bangalore with her production Shurpanakhi.
