Narayana Schools Hosts First TEDx to Spotlight Young Voices

Narayana Schools hosted TEDxNarayana S Youth event at its MG Road Branch, Gurugram, and brought together powerful student voices and distinguished guest speakers under the theme “The Shift Starts Here.” The event marked a significant step in Narayana Schools’ commitment to fostering independent thinking, confident communication, and future-ready leadership among students.

The TEDx event featured four student speakers who were selected from a pool of over 40 students to present their ideas on the TEDx stage, alongside six renowned guest speakers from diverse professional backgrounds. With an audience of around 100 attendees, including Narayanites, educators, and invited guests, the event created a vibrant platform for meaningful dialogue, idea-sharing, and inspiration. The talks covered a wide spectrum of contemporary and thought-provoking themes, reflecting the curiosity, awareness, and originality of young minds today.

The themes explored included 1) Trapped in the Feed, 2) Turning Errors into Answers, 3) The Life Skill School Forgets to Teach, 4) One Outfit at a Time, 5) How AI Can Help Amplify Curiosity and Outcomes, 6) Digital Waste, 7) Stop Counting and Start Living, 8) Your Accent Is Your Superpower, 9) Biomimicry in the Future, and 10) A World Through Sunglasses, among others.

Each talk resonated strongly with the audience, addressing real-world challenges, personal identity, technology, sustainability, creativity, and life skills, hallmarks of the TEDx philosophy.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharani Ponguru, Director, Narayana Educational Institutions, said,
