Liferay Launches Liferay AI Hub

LOS ANGELES – (June 3, 2026) – Liferay, a leading provider of Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs), today announced the launch of Liferay AI Hub, a standalone SaaS product that enables enterprise organizations to build, deploy, and manage AI agents through a low-code environment. Grounded in an organization’s own data and governed by its existing security policies, Liferay AI Hub is designed to give enterprises the speed and flexibility they need to adopt AI at scale without rebuilding the security infrastructure they already have in place.

Enterprise AI initiatives often stall because of the complexity involved in deploying AI responsibly. Building governance from scratch can take months. Ensuring AI stays grounded in the right data, and never surfaces what it shouldn’t, requires infrastructure most organizations are still trying to build. And fragmented adoption across departments creates security gaps and redundant costs that often go unnoticed until it’s too late. Liferay AI Hub was built to solve those challenges.

“The typical enterprise governance foundation includes access controls, data policies, and security infrastructure that have taken years to assemble. Liferay AI Hub lets organizations apply all of that to AI without starting over,” said Julia Molano, Director of Product Management at Liferay. “They can connect their preferred AI models, define agents tailored to their business, and deploy them in days, not months.”

Governance by Design

Liferay AI Hub is built on top of Liferay DXP’s existing security and access control framework. Rather than requiring organizations to build a separate governance layer for AI, Liferay AI Hub agents operate on behalf of authenticated DXP users, ensuring they can only access data that user is authorized to see. Every AI interaction is logged in a full audit trail, and sensitive information stays within the organization’s environment. The platform is designed to support enterprise compliance needs, including GDPR data locality, HIPAA access controls, and SOC 2 audit readiness. Liferay also holds ISO/IEC 42001 certification for its AI Management System, validating its commitment to responsible AI governance.

Open Architecture, Any AI Service

Unlike embedded AI solutions tied to a single vendor’s model, Liferay AI Hub is built on an open, model-agnostic architecture. Organizations can connect a wide range of LLMs, including models from providers such as Anthrophic, Google and OpenAI. As the AI landscape evolves, organizations can swap or add models without rebuilding agents or disrupting existing workflows, protecting their technology investments over time. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), customers can access data from any compatible system to be used by agents.

Low-Code Agent Building for the Whole Enterprise

Liferay AI Hub provides a low-code studio designed for technical users, including existing IT resources, who need to configure, deploy, and manage AI agents without the overhead of custom development. Pre-built agent templates cover common use cases, including content creation. They can be reviewed, configured, and deployed in minutes. For more specialized requirements, teams can define bespoke agents grounded in their own documents, product catalogs, knowledge bases, and systems of record.

Liferay AI Hub also supports multi-agent orchestration, allowing organizations to chain specialized agents into end-to-end business workflows, with complete human review checkpoints and event-driven triggers coming in later releases. Use cases span marketing content pipelines, supply chain risk monitoring, predictive audience segmentation, automated compliance review, proactive customer service triage, and more.

Ingenix Raises Euro13m From Sofinnova Partners-Led Syndicate to Scale Modality Fusion, a Novel Architecture for Drug Development

WARSAW, Poland, June 03 — Ingenix, the AI and biology company built around a single question – “What would it take for AI to truly understand biology?” – has today announced a €13m seed-extension funding round led by Sofinnova Partners, with participation from Inovo VC and OTB VC.

The funding will scale development of Ingenix’s Biological Reasoning Engine and broaden its work with pharma and biotech partners through the Qualified Access Program, launching today.

The dominant approach in AI for drug development, which trains larger models on larger datasets assuming biology will yield to scale, faces a structural problem. Biology is profoundly complex, fundamentally non-linguistic, and runs across modalities and biological scales. No single model, however large, can capture that on its own. Moreover, no single company holds all the data, across every modality and biological scale, to train one. Ingenix has built a different architecture, Modality Fusion, which integrates best-in-class models across modalities and biological scales, then reasons across their representations directly. The Biological Reasoning Engine is what Modality Fusion enables.

“This funding lets us extend the Biological Reasoning Engine to the partners and questions where it can do the most useful work,” said Piotr Surma, CEO and co-founder of Ingenix. “We built Ingenix on the conviction that biology needs an AI architecture designed for biology and not a general-purpose model retrofitted to it. The early results have been stronger than we forecast, and we’re excited to extend the Engine to a select number of partners through the Qualified Access Program.”

“It is no longer enough to just build models,” added Simon Turner, Partner at Sofinnova Partners. “Ingenix is building the reasoning layer, the part that actually connects the biology, the chemistry, and the clinical data into something a scientist can interrogate and act on. That’s the

hard bit, and that’s where the value compounds. We’re thrilled to back a team that gets that.”

The Engine in Action: ADC Payload Prioritization

In a recent engagement, Ingenix applied its Biological Reasoning Engine to a dual-payload ADC prioritization problem for an oncology biotech which had thousands of possible payload configurations but lacked the experimental capacity to test them.

The Engine produced 15 candidate combinations. Under blind expert review by the biotech’s translational science team, the predictions broke down as follows:

 5 were publicly known hypotheses.

2 were supported in existing literature but not widely cited.

3 had been confirmed by the biotech through internal experiments but never published and never disclosed to Ingenix.

5 were novel hypotheses not previously considered by the biotech team. Of these, the biotech flagged 3 as actionable candidates.

The double-payload ADC space is too new for any AI system to have seen meaningful training data on it. The engine reached its predictions by reasoning from first principles about the underlying biology, rather than by pattern-matching against prior examples.

In short, insights that had taken the biotech several years of research and millions of euros to develop were accomplished by the Engine in a matter of minutes.

Applications to the Qualified Access Program are now open at ingenix.ai/qap.

Jentic Launches Tool That Scores APIs for AI Readiness

Jentic, the AI infrastructure company bridging AI agents into the enterprise API landscape, today launched its API Scoring tool: a free CLI and web UI that evaluate whether a company’s APIs are ready for use by AI agents. Both tools score APIs across six readiness dimensions and are available immediately at no cost.

Jentic Launches Tool That Scores APIs for AI Readiness

The CLI is designed to integrate directly into  developer  workflows. Teams can run an initial scan to see where their APIs stand, then configure the tool to generate a fresh score automatically each time code is updated, giving engineering leaders a clear, trackable record of their API landscape’s AI-readiness over time.

The scoring framework was developed with input from senior figures in the API standards community, including a member of the OpenAPI Initiative’s Business Governance Board and an OpenAPI Initiative Ambassador, both of whom have joined Jentic.

Why AI readiness requires a new standard

Most APIs were designed with  human developers in mind. A developer can interpret ambiguous documentation, ask a colleague, or make an informed guess when an API description is incomplete. AI agents have much less context to work with . They require precise, machine-readable descriptions, predictable behaviour, and they should be given clear security guardrails. The vast majority of deployed APIs were not designed with those requirements in mind.

Until now, there has been no standardised way for engineering teams to measure that gap or track progress in closing it. The Jentic API Scoring tool is built to fill that role.

The six scoring dimensions assess whether an API’s descriptions are technically correct, clear enough for an agent to interpret, whether its behaviour is consistent and predictable, whether appropriate security controls are in place, and whether an AI system can discover and execute against it without human intervention.

“What does ‘good’ look like for agent experience and developer experience? The industry has conflated validity with usability for too long. Sure, your linter may not shout at you anymore, but a syntactically correct API description guarantees one thing: conformance to the spec’s grammar. It says nothing about whether an agent can discover, understand , and execute against that API reliably. That gap is measurable. This tool gives teams that metric, and a path to improving it.” Frank Kilcommins, Head of Enterprise Architecture, Jentic and Member, OpenAPI Initiative Business Governance Board

“We all know that AI is taking off in a big way. Whether it’s coding agents or business agents, every organization out there is using AI in some way. We need to make sure our API landscape evolves to match the needs of these new consumers. Scoring is the perfect starting point, and while scoring gets you started with clear goals, Jentic is working on additional tooling to accelerate your path towards an AI-ready API landscape.” Erik Wilde, Head of Enterprise Strategy, Jentic and OpenAPI Initiative Ambassador

“In the AI era, the API is king, and APIs must be built for agents, not just for developers. This tool gives every engineering team a free compass to help them navigate through that transition.”  Sean Blanchfield, CEO, Jentic
