Polymatech Secures Additional Land in SIPCOT Medical Devices Park; Executes 99-Year Lease to Accelerate Expansion

New Delhi, Mar 23: Polymatech Electronics Limited, a leading Indian semiconductor manufacturer, announced today the execution of a 99-year lease for an additional 4.45-acre land parcel in the SIPCOT Medical Devices Park near its existing Oragadam facility. This strategic acquisition will enable the company to accelerate the development of advanced medical device manufacturing infrastructure in response to strong market demand.

The expansion follows the successful introduction and positive reception of Polymatech’s latest medical device innovations showcased at CES Las Vegas and HIMSS Las Vegas. Upon completion, the new facility is expected to manufacture a wide range of high-precision medical devices, bolstering India’s position in electronics and healthcare manufacturing. The project will create employment opportunities for approximately 100 engineers, contributing to regional skill development and industrial growth.

Mr. Eswara Rao Nandam, MD & CEO of Polymatech, commented:

“Securing this additional land near our Oragadam facility reflects our commitment to scaling advanced medical device manufacturing in India. With strong global validation of our innovations, this expansion will enable us to respond with speed, precision, and quality to growing market needs.”

Polymatech expressed its appreciation to SIPCOT and the Government of Tamil Nadu for facilitating the land allotment within weeks, highlighting the state’s support for advanced manufacturing investments. In parallel, the Government of Chhattisgarh has allotted land and issued its State Government Recommendation to Polymatech, paving the way for Special Economic Zone (SEZ) notification, which is currently underway.

This development underscores Polymatech’s ongoing efforts to build a globally competitive manufacturing ecosystem while advancing India’s vision of becoming a leading hub for electronics and medical device production.
