Bank of India, in collaboration with M/s. Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, organised a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at the BOI-Head Office, BKC Complex, from October 17 to October 31, 2022. On October 18, 2022, Shri Atanu Kumar Das, MD & CEO- Bank of India, launched a pledge signature campaign in which all employees were encouraged to sign and take a pledge to take their loved ones for a mammogram and raise awareness about breast cancer.
On October 19, 2022, Dr. Bhavisha Ghugare, Surgical Oncologist from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, delivered an address to all female employees, which was inaugurated by Smt. Monika Kalia, Executive Director, Bank of India. Following that, all female employees received Self-Breast Examination Training.
