Hon’ble Governor and Hon’ble Chief Minister unfurl one of its kind 104 ft tall Flag mast honouring the country and its martyrs on the occasion of Holi

Sikkim: On the auspicious occasion of Holi, Hon’ble Governorof Sikkim Shri Ganga Prasad, and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) participated in the Holi Milan programme organised by the Gangtok Holi Utsav Samiti 2021 at Gangtok.Together they inaugurated a Monumental Flag Mast honouring India and the Martyrs. The celebrations were also joined by Hon’ble Ministers, Hon’ble MLAs, and other dignitaries.
The gathering was held at MG Marg, Gantok. The Hon’ble Governor, Hon’ble Chief Minister together hoisted the Monumental Flag Mast of 104fts. The enormous mast was installed to commemorate the Motherland and the soldiers who died fighting for the country. It is one of kind in the state. During the Holi Milan programme, the Hon’ble Governor and Hon’ble Chief Minister were also felicitated by the Utsav Samiti.
Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) said, “I was delighted to join the Hon’ble Governor Shri Ganga Prasad Ji, Cabinet colleagues, Advisors, Chairpersons and officials for the inauguration of the monumental Flag Mast at M.G Marg in the capital today.” He also expressed his gratitude to the Gantok Holi Utsav Samiti 2021 committee members for felicitating the Hon’ble Governor and him on the virtuous occasion of Holi.
