This Children’s Day, HDFC AMC organized a session for children for them to hear some fascinating stories! HDFC AMC in association with the Mumbai Storytellers Society helped children understand the financial world through simple stories that make learning fun.
Below are the three stories through which they educated the children on financial topics like savings, banking, inflation, budgeting, planning, etc :
1. A saree for Ammi ( Ammi ke liye Saadi) Author – Mamta Nancy Story narrated by Shalini Bajaj Surve Topic: Savings
2. Mani’s Money – By Karthik Rangappa. The story is narrated by Usha Venkatraman. Topic: Banking, Inflation, and opening a Savings Account
3. The Purple Bicycle- A story adapted to a storytelling format from the book “ Maya makes money “ by Diya Garg. Narrated by: Hema Subramanian. Topic: Budget, Planning, Investing, and Saving
