Sopot, Poland, May 12: Indian equestrian rider Ashish Limaye delivered a landmark performance at the prestigious equestrian event held in Sopot, Poland, securing top-four finishes in both the CCI 3S and CCI 4L categories and creating history for Indian equestrian sport.

Competing against elite international riders, Ashish secured 4th position in the CCI 4L category riding D’Avril du Pinier among 11 participants, earning qualification for the World Games. He also finished 4th in the CCI 3S category aboard Willy Be Dun, competing against a strong field of 44 participants, thereby qualifying for the Asian Games.
With this achievement, Ashish Limaye has become the first Indian rider to qualify for the Asian Games in this category, marking a historic milestone for India in international equestrian sports.
His performance was supported by Embassy International Riding School (EIRS), which has been instrumental in developing competitive equestrian talent in India through structured training and global exposure.
Ashish Limaye said the qualification for both the World Games and Asian Games is a proud moment in his career, adding that competing in Sopot provided valuable international experience. He acknowledged the support of EIRS, his team, and mentors throughout his journey.
