Feb 13: AISECT’s transformative mobile initiative, Kaushal Rath, was officially flagged off at Kartavya Path by Shri Jitin Prasada, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. The launch is part of a nationwide campaign to promote AI literacy among youth, leading up to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled from February 16–20, 2026.
During the inauguration, Shri Jitin Prasada stated,
“Kaushal Rath will travel to the remotest corners of our nation, ensuring that even the most hard-to-reach communities are empowered with AI literacy. This mission is about giving our youth the tools to thrive in the future economy.” He further highlighted the significance of the upcoming summit as a key step in positioning India as a global leader in AI talent.
Dr. (Prof.) Vijay Singh, Vice Chancellor of SCOPE Global Skills University, added, “The Kaushal Rath – Yuva AI for All initiative is not just about awareness; it is about responsibility. It will help students and youth understand both the opportunities and challenges of AI, guiding them towards judicious and ethical implementation.”
As part of its Delhi-NCR outreach from February 11–15, 2026, Kaushal Rath will visit key institutions and community hubs, including Nehru Place, India Gate, Delhi University, Trinity College, Kaushal Bhawan, NASSCOM Foundation, IIMT, Pari Chowk, and Qutub Minar, culminating at Bharat Mandapam ahead of the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Through interactive demonstrations and awareness sessions, the initiative aims to engage students and youth in understanding the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Smt. Kavita Bhatia, Scientist ‘G’ & COO, IndiaAI Mission; Shri Neeraj Kumar Singh, Private Secretary to Shri Jitin Prasada; Mr. Kartik Suri, GM – Future Skills, IndiaAI Mission; Mr. Karanpreet Singh, Associate GM, AISECT; Mr. Maheep Nigam, Senior Manager, AISECT Publications; Mr. Abhinav Kumar, CSR Lead, AISECT; and Ms. Princy Singh Rai, State Head – Delhi, AISECT.
