Magma Launches ‘Magma Engineering’ to Deliver Fully Integrated Precision Component Manufacturing Across the Industrial Value Chain

Feb 13: Magma, Asia’s leading integrated industrial manufacturing provider, today announced the launch of Magma Engineering, its integrated precision engineering vertical designed to deliver high-performance industrial components from design to delivery. Coinciding with Magma’s fourth anniversary, the launch strengthens Magma’s evolution from a materials and industrial solutions provider into a fully integrated industrial manufacturing and engineering partner.

Magma Engineering is built to deliver high-tolerance, mission-critical components that support industrial operations where downtime directly impacts productivity and cost. This vertical combines machining, fabrication, and quality systems to produce both custom and repeat-part solutions for heavy industry, process plants, and advanced manufacturing lines. Going forward, Magma Engineering is aimed to be a strong growth driver for the Magma Group, along with TerraMag – Magma’s advanced industrial materials arm and Magma Green – India’s leading green manufacturing and circular materials player.

Unlike traditional machining providers that operate as standalone vendors, Magma Engineering is positioned as a fully integrated design-to-delivery engineering partner. Industrial components typically move through multiple stages, often involving fragmented vendor networks that create delays, cost inefficiencies, and quality variability. Magma Engineering consolidates this fragmented process into a single, precision-driven ecosystem, enabling customers to source mission-critical components through one accountable partner.

Speaking on the launch, Neal Thakker, Founder and CEO, Magma Group said,

“Our objective has always been to build Magma into a global, Indian multinational that delivers complete solutions, and Magma Engineering brings together everything our customers have been asking for – precision, speed, and accountability under one roof from a local partner geographically close to them. With factories and manufacturers increasingly moving away from overseas OEMs and long, uncertain supply chains, we are building the capability to localise critical component manufacturing with quality and turnaround times that match the pace of modern industry. Given how frequently these parts are consumed, speed matters, and this vertical allows us to partner deeply with our customers as they scale – delivering results on time, every time.”

The launch of Magma Engineering represents a strategic expansion of Magma’s broader vision to build an integrated industrial solutions vertical, combining materials, manufacturing, and now precision engineered components under a unified ecosystem. By aggregating recurring demand across multiple industrial customers, Magma Engineering also aims to enable scale-driven efficiencies, improving turnaround times while maintaining tight tolerance and quality control standards. The model is designed to support industries where component precision directly impacts operational uptime, safety, and production efficiency.
