New Delhi to Host 2026 Bloomberg New Economy Forum: A Gathering of Global Business and Government Pioneers

The eighth edition of the Bloomberg New Economy Forum (the “Forum”), a leading global platform for economic and policy dialogue, will be hosted in New Delhi on October 13-15, 2026, marking the first time the event is held in India. Prime Minister H.E. Narendra Modi will speak at the Forum, alongside global heads of state and government, business executives, financiers, innovators and thought leaders from around the world.

“India is the world’s fastest-growing major economy, which makes it a fitting host for the next Bloomberg New Economy Forum,” said Michael R. Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies. “As we expand the Forum’s network of partners, we look forward to joining Prime Minister Modi in working to spur more collaboration between governments and businesses around the world.”

In less than a decade, the New Economy Forum has become a critical convening for senior decision-makers. And following five successful years with Singapore as host country, during which the world witnessed rapid transformation, the 2026 Forum will be in India, a rising geopolitical force with a pivotal role in global trade.

We’re thrilled to be taking the New Economy Forum to New Delhi – the heart of a fast-growing nation at the crossroads of economic transformation, technology and global ambition,” said Erik Schatzker, Editorial Director of Bloomberg New Economy. “India’s influence on the world stage makes it the ideal next chapter for this Forum. At a time of shifting trade relationships, evolving alliances, and the rise of new centers of influence, India stands tall in this multipolar environment. There’s no doubt India will have a standout role in shaping the next era of growth, innovation, and cooperation.”
