Kitman Labs to Power Player Health and Performance Data for Entire United Super League

United Super League

Menlo Park, California, and Tampa, Florida (April 30, 2025) – Kitman Labs, the global enterprise SaaS company delivering the only fully centralized operating system for performance intelligence in elite sports, today announced a new partnership with the United Soccer League (USL) that will see all eight clubs competing in the USL Super League deploy the Performance Medicine Solution in Kitman Labs’ iP: Intelligence Platform.

Now in its inaugural season following an August 2024 launch, the USL Super League is operated by the United Soccer League and marks a new era for women’s professional soccer in North America. Through this league-wide partnership, each club will leverage a centralized and configurable medical operating system that enables the aggregation and activation of all player health data.

The Performance Medicine Solution—one of four core solutions within iP: Intelligence Platform—is the only system natively built to integrate both medical and performance data into a single, comprehensive platform. This will give member clubs a real-time, 360° view of their respective players from a health and readiness perspective while generating insights to improve athlete welfare, reduce injury risk, and drive performance outcomes through actionable intelligence.

Key capabilities powered by Performance Medicine for USL Super League clubs include:

Standardized league-wide medical documentation and data collection – eliminating gaps and inconsistencies while supporting club-level configurability and compliance.

Cross-department collaboration – aligning medical and performance teams to support evidence-based decisions around player health, care, and wellness.

Operational efficiency – enabling practitioners to spend less time on admin and more time on athlete treatment and development.

Comprehensive, consistent datasets – laying the foundation for league-wide research, injury surveillance, and innovation.

All staff, coaches, and practitioners from across the eight Super League clubs will utilize the shared platform as a single source of truth. The resulting analytics will help inform data-led, evidence-based decisions on and off the pitch.

“We have the opportunity to build a cutting-edge data and analytics infrastructure from the ground up—a secure, fully integrated and scalable platform that benefits the league, the clubs, and most importantly, the athletes,” said Amanda Vandersort, USL Super League President. “With this system in place, our medical and performance staff can make better decisions around injury prevention, rehab, return to play, load management, and overall athlete care.”

“We’re proud to partner with the USL Super League in its inaugural season and be part of this defining moment for women’s professional soccer,” said Stephen Smith, CEO and Founder of Kitman Labs. “The league has a clear vision for innovation—prioritizing player health, performance, and longevity. With iP: Intelligence Platform, the USL has the foundation to scale and unify medical data management and analytics, equipping every club with the technology and intelligence needed to make data-informed decisions and elevate athlete care.”

The league’s eight inaugural clubs—Brooklyn FC, Carolina Ascent FC, Dallas Trinity FC, DC Power FC, Fort Lauderdale United FC, Lexington SC, Spokane Zephyr FC, and Tampa Bay Sun FC—are competing for the championship, set to be decided in June.

Kitman Labs has an established track record of working with top leagues, governing bodies, teams, and athletes across 26 countries and multiple sports, including soccer, basketball, rugby, and American football. The company’s technology is currently used by more than 2,000 teams and organizations, including the NFL, NBA, MLS, NWSL, Unrivaled, Premier League, and NCAA.

iP: Intelligence Platform represents the industry’s largest dataset of talent, performance, and medical data, supporting every stage of the athlete lifecycle.

CrowdStrike Launches New Tools to Tackle Cloud and AI Risks

CrowdStrike announced new innovations, including AI Model Scanning and detection of Shadow AI, to secure every area of cloud risk with the CrowdStrike Falcon® cybersecurity platform. With capabilities that accelerate secure AI innovation, protect cloud data at runtime, stop SaaS threats, and secure hybrid identities, CrowdStrike expands its platform advantage, delivering unified visibility and protection across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Cloud intrusions are surging as adversaries exploit valid accounts, and the growth of AI and SaaS makes it harder to protect identities and sensitive data. Stopping cloud breaches requires unified visibility and protection across cloud infrastructure, workloads, applications, identity, dataAI models and SaaS. CrowdStrike covers every layer of cloud risk from the most comprehensive unified platform, spanning advanced cloud detection and response (CDR), AI-powered analytics, runtime protection and world-class threat intelligence to stop cloud breaches.

CrowdStrike Launches New Tools to Tackle Cloud and AI Risks

Cloud security is about more than visibility – it’s about full protection and control across multi-cloud environments,” said Elia Zaitsev, chief technology officer, CrowdStrike. “The explosion of AI, combined with multi-cloud complexity, has outpaced patchwork tools that can’t keep up with today’s adversaries, or are limited to single cloud environments. CrowdStrike is breaking that model. These innovations deliver real-time protection, not just telemetry, across every layer of riskdata, workloads, identities, SaaS and AI. It’s what only a unified, AI-native platform can do, and is the difference between watching attacks happen and actually stopping them.”

Securing AI in the Cloud

AI innovation is happening in the cloud, and securing that innovation is critical to stopping breaches. CrowdStrike set the standard for securing AI in the cloud with Falcon Cloud Security AI-SPM and AI Red Team Services, protecting the cloud infrastructure, systems and models powering the AI revolution. Building on this leadership, CrowdStrike introduced new Falcon® Cloud Security innovations to detect and mitigate risk in AI models before they become threats, and provide visibility into overall AI security posture:

  • AI Model Scanning: Proactively scans AI models for hidden malware, trojanized models, backdoors, and adversarial manipulations in containerized environments – preventing compromised models from executing at runtime or reaching production. Powered by CrowdStrike threat intelligence and ExPRT.AI, security teams can identify and fix the most business-critical risks before deployment, block untrusted models and eliminate blind spots before threats reach production.
  • AI Security Dashboard: Provides real-time visibility and centralized control over all AI workloads in the cloud. With agentless monitoring, security teams can detect shadow AI, enforce policies and track sensitive training data to reduce exposure and maintain compliant AI adoption.

Securing Cloud Identities, Data and SaaS

CrowdStrike also introduced new innovations across the Falcon platform to protect cloud data at runtime, stop SaaS threats and secure hybrid identities – driving faster threat detection and reducing risk across cloud environments:

  • Falcon Data Protection for Cloud: Secures cloud data at runtime with real-time monitoring and enforcement powered by eBPF, stopping unauthorized access and data exposure, without slowing systems down.
  • SaaS Threat Services: Provides tailored assessments and real-time threat detection for SaaS applications, helping organizations mitigate risks and secure their cloud-native environments.
  • Falcon Privileged Access: Eliminates standing privileges and manual access requests to sensitive systems and data across hybrid environments through dynamic Just-in-Time access decisions.
  • CrowdStrike Pulse Services: To harden cloud environments, CrowdStrike Pulse Services helps organizations identify and prioritize misconfigurations, manage identities and reduce cloud attack surfaces. Delivered through modular, expert-led engagements, Pulse enables teams to detect and respond to threats faster across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Speaking on her appointment, Ms. Smita Chatterji said, “Being nominated is a privilege but to be elected is an honour I deeply value. This is an opportunity to bridge gaps, build resilient ecosystems and ensure that women not only participate in but also shape the future of industry in West Bengal.”

The Cost Benefits of EVs – Empowering India to Go Electric

Chennai, 30.04.25, April, 2025: Electric vehicle (EV) ownership in India is gaining momentum, driven by the clear cost advantages it offers over traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. Despite the slightly higher initial acquisition cost, the long-term benefits make EVs a smart choice for buyers seeking sustainable and cost-effective mobility solutions. TATA.ev leads the charge in bringing price parity between EVs and comparable ICE models. With lower running and maintenance costs, EVs are the future and redefining the economics of car ownership.

According to the VAHAN data, the electric passenger vehicle segment has seen a remarkable surge, with retail sales reaching over 89,000 units in CY 2024, marking a 22% increase from the previous year. This growth reflects a broader trend in the EV market, which saw a total of 19 Lakh units sold, representing a 27% overall increase. Besides its economic benefits, this rising consumer interest in EVs is also driven by the expanding support from both manufacturers and government initiatives.

The Financial Edge of EVs

A closer examination of the costs associated with EV ownership reveals substantial savings across multiple fronts. The total acquisition cost for models like the Nexon.ev is becoming increasingly competitive, as battery prices continue to decline. When compared to equivalent petrol, diesel, hybrid, and CNG vehicles, the Nexon.ev offers a favorable cost proposition, making EVs more accessible to a broader range of consumers.

Beyond the initial purchase, the ongoing cost benefits of EVs become even more apparent. Charging an EV is substantially more economical than fueling an ICE vehicle. Additionally, lower maintenance costs due to fewer moving parts further enhance the appeal of EVs as a cost-effective option. The integration of rooftop solar systems adds another layer of savings, allowing EV owners to achieve zero cost mobility and reduce energy costs by utilizing renewable energy for charging, making the shift to electric mobility even more advantageous.

EVs demonstrate significant acquisition cost savings compared to premium hybrid and CNG options, aligning with consumer priorities of affordability and sustainability.

EVs stand out with their low per-kilometer energy cost, especially when compared to traditional fuels like petrol and diesel. This is a critical factor for consumers seeking to reduce their daily commuting expenses.

Understanding Cost of Ownership in Detail

One of the key advantages of owning an EV is the significant reduction in daily operating costs, which becomes evident when examining the granular details of fuel consumption and maintenance.

With a daily fuel cost as low as ₹43.62 for the Nexon.ev, compared to ₹303.29 for a petrol vehicle, and ₹191.34 for its diesel powered counterpart, the financial benefits of owning an EV accumulate quickly. This translates to an annual fuel cost of only ₹15,703 for the Nexon.ev, compared to ₹1,09,184 for petrol, ₹68,883 for diesel, and ₹54,332 for CNG. Combined with lower maintenance expenses, EVs offer a cost-effective solution that not only helps save money but also enhance the overall ownership experience.

Long-term Running Cost Benefits

The annual running cost of the Nexon.ev is significantly lower compared to other vehicle types. Over five years, this difference becomes even more pronounced with the Nexon.ev totaling ₹1,77,458, compared to ₹6,50,912 for petrol, ₹4,56,404 for diesel, ₹4,73,947 for hybrid, and ₹3,78,625 for CNG.

This long-term financial advantage offers consumers a sustainable and budget-friendly alternative to ICE vehicles.
TATA.ev continues to dominate the EV market with over 60 percent market share, achieving sales of over 2 Lakh units in 4 years. It leads the charge with the largest electric vehicle portfolio in India, comprising the Tiago.ev, Tigor.ev, Punch.ev, Nexon.ev, and the Curvv.ev ranging from ₹7.99 Lakh to ₹22 Lakh. By continuously innovating and enhancing its offerings, TATA.ev ensures that transitioning to electric vehicles proves to be a smart and rewarding choice for consumers.
