Hype Forays into the Standard Car Rental Segment

Hype, India’s biggest luxury car rental company, is now set to capture the standard car segment. With the launch of its services in Bangalore on April 29th, Hype has extended its services to touch the lives of millions of Indians who prefer standard cars for rentals.

Hype is one of the fastest-growing startups in India. It was founded in 2017 by Raghav Belavadi and co-founded by Vijaya Belavadi. It has its presence in the luxury car rental market in 23 cities across India and in UAE, and the UK.

The standard car rental segment, while being one of the biggest segments and posing a huge opportunity, is also underserved in terms of service quality and comfort. Hype strives to solve this issue by providing standard cars to the masses with its best-in-class service, quality, safety, and hygiene.

Hype is excited to now expand into the standard car rental segment. Even in the standard car segment, Hype will be into rentals with a high level of service quality and for any ride, the cars will have to be scheduled either on Hype’s website or its App prior to the required time. To begin with, the launch is being piloted in Bangalore with over 500 standard cars in its fleet, and once Hype sees a positive uptick, and based on the experience and learning, it has the potential and fleet partners to expand to all major cities in India.

MedTech startup EzeRx raises an undisclosed amount as seed funding from certain promoters of Mankind Pharma Limited

Delhi, 2. June 2022: Bhubaneswar-based MedTech Startup, EzeRx Health Tech Private Limited, has received seed funding from certain promoters of Mankind Pharma Limited, including Mr. Sheetal Arora, the CEO of Mankind Pharma Limited.

EzeRx, founded in 2018 by Partha, along with its Co-Founders Chaitali Roy and Sudip Roy Chowdhury is an easy, painless and non-invasive screening solution to identify primary health parameters at an early stage such as ailments in liver, kidney, lungs and blood glucose level and common problems like Anaemia, in less than a minute without withdrawing blood from the human body.

Huawei Intelligent Net-Zero Carbon Campus Solution Wins WSIS Prize 2022 Champion

[Geneva, Switzerland, June 2, 2022] Huawei was named Champion at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2022 Forum’s Prizes Ceremony in Geneva yesterday. The WSIS 2022 Prizes Campion, was presented to Huawei for its use of their intelligent net–zero carbon campus solution at the Yancheng Low-carbon & Smart Energy Industrial Park project. A total of 996 projects were considered for this award, and the selection process took five months.

WSIS is the world’s largest annual gathering of the ICT for development community. The event aims at advancing global sustainable development goals is co-organized by the ITU, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and other UN organizations and WSIS action plan facilitators. The WSIS Prizes contest awards prizes for outstanding sustainability projects in 18 categories, including information and communication infrastructure, E-government, E-environment, E-health, and E-agriculture. Huawei‘s intelligent net–zero carbon campus solution was nominated for this year’s environment category.

Yancheng Low-carbon & Smart Energy Industrial Park

The Yancheng Park project was jointly developed by Huawei and the Yancheng Power Supply Company, a subsidiary of the State Grid Corporation of China. The project uses the triple-dimensional model for energy transformation, decarbonization, and digital transformation.
