Sayaji Indore announces festivities in town with the Cake Mixing Ceremony 2022

Indore, 6th November 2022:Sayaji Hotel Indore recently organised a rich cake mixing ceremony to mark the beginning of the festive season.

The event was a fun-filled celebration where elite guests, bloggers &Influencers of the City, and hotel staff joined together and bonded over the joy of the ceremony.

Dry fruits and nuts, including almonds, pistachios, and cashews along with freshly pounded aromatic spices were mixed with a variety of spirits. The soaked mix is left for a few weeks to make some lip-smacking cakes. Hosted over a hi-tea the guests enjoyed their evening and shared well-wishes with the Sayaji Team and welcomed festivities in the city together.

Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2022 at NMDC Ltd., Hyderabad

Hyderabad, 6 November 2022: Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week–2022(VAW-2022) at NMDC HOon the theme – Corruption free India for a developed Nation concluded today with the Valedictory function and prize distribution ceremony.

During the week-long programme, many activities like slogan writing, poster making, elocution, and essay and quiz competitions were conducted for the employees, wards of employees and school/college students. A few awareness programmes were also arranged for the employees wherein eminent keynote speakers from SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad and CVC, New Delhi delivered lectures on the theme of VAW-2022. There was great enthusiasm among the employees, trainees, wards and students in participation in various competitions arranged during the week.

Today on the concluding day of VAW-2022, Shri Somnath Nandi, Director (Tech.) was the Chief Guest and Shri Dilip Kumar Mohanty, Director (Prodn.) was the Guest of honour of Valedictory function. In his address, the chief guest Shri Somanth Nandi, Director (Tech), NMDC stressed creating a culture by inculcating moral values and a sense of integrity among all employees and citizens. He applauded the efforts of CVO, NMDC and his vigilance team for the successful conduct of all activities during VAW-2022. He also congratulated all the winners of various competitions held during VAW-2022. Shri D.K.Mohanty, Director (Prodn.) in his speech, stressed making a habit of being vigilant in every walk of life on daily basis. The function was attended by senior officials and other employees of HO & R&D as well as by the students and faculty members of schools/colleges where competitions were conducted. The prizes to the winners of the competitions were given away by Director (Tech), Director (Prodn.) and EDs/CGMs of NMDC.

IIM Kashipur successfully conducted Annual HR Conclave Samanvaya

Kashipur, Uttarakhand, November 6th, 2022: Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur successfully conducted its Annual HR-Conclave ‘Samanvaya’ 2022- Digital Chapter 3 on Saturday. The event was organized online via Zoom and was also streamed live on YouTube. The event was based on the theme ’Human Centricity: Future of Workforce’

The event began with a welcome of the honorary guests which included, Mr Rohit Sharma, Head of HR Operations at Bayer, Mr Navneet Damani, General Manager Employee Relations at ITC Limited, Mr Vikas Maheshwary, Global HR Transformation at Biocon Biologics and Mr Kiran Venugopal, Talent Services Analyst at Deloitte USI, an alumnus of IIM Kashipur.

The panel discussion on the topic of ‘Consumerisation of HR: Employees as Brand Advocates’ was moderated by Mr Kiran Venugopal. The panelists shared their views on the importance of how organizations and companies are impacted by consumer-oriented technologies and the quality of talents within these organizations, who are key in pushing businesses further.

The panel discussed the significant change in the compositions of teams within an organization or company in these modern times comprising of members from nearly four generations; how these new fresh employees have distinct expectations and aspirations they want to achieve that are rather very different from the past generations and also how work in itself is transforming in terms of its definition; how it gets done in terms of tools, skills and where can this work be done. They further discussed that this was more of an opportunity rather than a challenge that managers could help unleash the new generation accomplish their full potential by using an adaptive design approach where personalized roadmaps in terms of skills, needs, and flexibility are implemented and how a bottom-up approach could help engage more employees and give them a sense of accountability. There should be an environment where employees are proud of their association with a particular organization; where they feel they have a purpose and a sense of belonging and how HR can play a crucial role in it.

The students posed several questions to the esteemed panel regarding the ongoing and upcoming trends of workforce management and the impact of ground-breaking technology on the skill development of employees and the use of analytics tools for the same. The speakers heavily appreciated the active participation of the students in the conclave.
