AUS wins Survey of India’s first Large Scale Mapping contract to map 32000 sq km in Haryana state

New Delhi, 27th January 2022: AUS (Aarav Unmanned Systems), the leading Indian end-to-end drone solutions start-up wins a Large-Scale Mapping Project from the Survey of India. The company has bagged the $2 million mandate to deploy nearly 44 drones to map the entire state of Haryana covering roughly 32000 sq km. Under this project, AUS will deploy its propreitary survey grade drones to ensure accurate data capturing which will further be processed by the survey of India to update the revenue maps and GIS database by digitizing the land records.

This will be the first project of its kind which has been awarded by the Survey of India for Large Scale Mapping of any state. AUS had earlier got the mandate to deploy 80 drones to map villages across 4 states under the SVAMITVA scheme from the Survey of India last year. To date, AUS has mapped roughly 10,000 villages and completed its contract for mapping villages in Uttarkhand successfully.

AUS the leading end-to-end drone solution startup acquires Algopixel Technologies for an undisclosed amount

Mumbai: AUS, the leading end-to-end drone solutions startup acquired Algopixel Technologies, a Bengaluru-based software solution provider for drone operation management and cloud-based data processing for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition will accelerate AUS’s journey towards building robust and scalable end-to-end solutions for sectors like mining, infrastructure, land records, and precision farming. Algopixel was founded by Abhiroop Bhatnagar and Rishabh Gupta in the year 2015.

Tata Steel shortlists AUS to provide drone-based solutions to multiple business verticals across India

Mumbai: AUS (Aarav Unmanned Systems), the leading end-to-end drone solution start-up has been awarded multiple long-term contracts from various business verticals of Tata Steel to provide advanced drone-based enterprise solutions. AUS’s drones are expected to help Tata Steel operate their mines more effectively and enhance productivity, besides ensuring higher regulatory fulfillment and safety. AUS’s drone solution is helping the Projects team of Tata Steel to map the progress of the upcoming Kalinganagar Expansion Plant in Odisha. The integrated steel complex will be the largest in India with a capacity of 8 million tons. In another contract from the Tata Steel Corporate Audit team, AUS has signed a Two-year rate contract to carry out drone-based physical verification of bulk inventory at all the 23 locations across multiple Tata Steel entities. For the Natural Resources Division of Tata Steel, AUS will carry out monthly drone surveys of the mining leases of Tata Steel Ltd. and deliver advanced Mine Analysis. Tata Steel Ltd. also signed a contract with AUS to procure three survey-grade Drones for serving internal survey requirements and RnD applications.

AUS & Tata Steel acquired exemptions for drone operations from the Ministry of Civil Aviation for One year across all the 23 mines, plant, and raw material locations. DGCA has approved AUS’s SOP for One year to operate drones at Tata Steel entities. This will ensure that all the operations for Tata Steel will be carried out with 100% regulatory compliance.
