Guru Debaprasad das Award Festival was organized by a well-known institution,Tridhara in Bhubaneswar, Odhisha on 13th February 2021.
The festival commenced with the Inaugural Dance presentation by the students of Tridhara , choreographed by Guru Gajendra Panda.
The star attraction of the inaugural evening was celebrated singer Padmashree Pt Anup Jalota from who was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award on the occasion. Pandit Anup Jalota who performed during the evening, sang some of his immensely popular Bhajans like AisiLagi lagan, Main Nahin Makhan Khayo, Rang De Chunariya, Jag mein Sundar Hain do Naam and many others.
He was accompanied beautifully by renowned artiste, Pt Prosenjit Poddar on Tabla from Kolkata, who by his instrument led the songs to the next attraction of the audiences.
The other accompaniment artists were Jabahar Mishra on Flute, Ramlal Mishra on Sarangi, Kousik Mukherjee on Keyboard and Arindam Ghosh on Guitar.
