Mumbai, Jan 8: DOMS, India’s most loved art and stationery brand, successfully conducted the DOMS Smart Grip & Handwriting Excellence Masterclass on 3rd January 2026 at the KidZania Mumbai Theatre. The educational initiative witnessed active participation from children, parents, and well-known parent bloggers, making it a highly engaging and impactful learning experience.
The masterclass was conducted by Zaihnaab Kapadia, a renowned Handwriting and Fine Motor Skills Expert, and focused on the science behind handwriting, the importance of correct pencil grip, and age-appropriate writing techniques. The interactive session emphasized how well-developed fine motor skills and the right grip play a crucial role in building confidence, creativity, and long-term academic success in children.
Through hands-on activities and expert-led demonstrations, children learned effective techniques to strengthen finger muscles, enhance hand–eye coordination, and improve writing fluency. Parents participated alongside their children, gaining clarity on foundational handwriting concepts and practical guidance to reinforce these skills at home. The session proved equally beneficial for parents, helping them strengthen their own understanding while supporting their children’s learning journey.
