Iyuno’s Strategic Approach: Multi-Agent AI, Built Around Context

Specialized AI agents are becoming an industry-wide shift. Iyuno applied that approach to one of media’s hardest problems: giving AI a memory that holds up across scenes, episodes, and seasons.

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Iyuno, the world’s largest media localization company, today detailed the multi-agent engineering behind CLOE’s Contextual Memory, built on the belief that applying specialized AI agents to a narrow, well-defined problem outperforms brute-force scale.

"Our focus was never building the biggest AI system—it was building the right one for media," said David Lee, Founder & CEO of Iyuno.

Most enterprise AI deployments chase scale — bigger models, bigger context windows, bigger compute bills — and still lose narrative continuity across long-form video. CLOE takes a different approach, built on three principles:

  • Vertical Multi-Agent Orchestration. Instead of one monolithic model, a network of hyper-specialized micro-agents each performs a specific function, such as character relationship mapping, emotional intent, prosodic matching, or brand compliance, instead of relying on a single system to perform every task.
  • High-Density, Low-Token Prompting. Raw video, audio, and script are synthesized into a structured knowledge graph first; agents work from compressed, high-signal context vectors instead of massive raw inputs, cutting token consumption and inference cost per title.
  • Persistent Graph Memory. Agent outputs converge into one persistent ontology graph instead of being discarded after each task, so understanding compounds across a title, season, or franchise without compounding inference cost.

“Our focus was never building the biggest AI system—it was building the right one for media,” said David Lee, Founder & CEO of Iyuno. “For a broad, general-purpose problem, bigger models and more compute make sense. For a specialized domain like entertainment, that scale doesn’t buy you the thing that actually matters: narrative continuity. Specialized agents working off precise, high-density context get us state-of-the-art understanding at a fraction of the footprint, and that footprint doesn’t grow with catalog size the way monolithic approaches do. Every title we process makes the graph more capable, not more expensive to run.”

This architecture already runs Iyuno’s commercial suite: CLOE Enterprise (SaaS), CLOE Sub, CLOE Script, CLOE Dub, and CLOE Live — in live studio and streaming production today. Future announcements will detail how it extends into CLOE Skills across accessibility, marketing, and additional workflows.

Children’s Academy students tackle India’s 7.7-million-tonne textile waste challenge

Children’s Academy International School is tackling India’s 7.7 million tonnes of annual textile waste by empowering students to implement circular economy principles and transform discarded fabrics into sustainable new products.

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — India generates approximately 7.7 million tonnes of textile waste annually, a volume that places significant strain on the nation’s ecological infrastructure. In a move to address this crisis through education and action, Children’s Academy International School has launched Clothes for Conscience, a community engagement initiative designed to integrate sustainability into the core curriculum. Full program details and initiative updates are available at www.childrens-academy.in.

Children's Academy students explore India’s rich textile traditions via Clothes for Conscience, a community engagement initiative

The initiative encourages students to look past the classroom and engage with the physical realities of the textile industry. By working directly with Indian fabrics and studying craftsmanship processes, students gain a first-hand understanding of the environmental costs associated with fashion, including water pollution and the proliferation of chemical dyes. This hands-on approach aims to foster a deeper appreciation for the lifecycle of products, shifting the focus from passive consumption to active stewardship.

Sustainability at the academy is treated as a practical discipline rather than a theoretical subject.

Students are now putting circular economy principles into practice by reclaiming discarded fabrics to create new, functional goods. The transformation of remnants into cloth bags, jewelry, and accessories serves as a proof of concept for reducing waste at the local level. With global textile waste estimated at 92 million tonnes each year, the project underscores the importance of scaling small-scale interventions to meet a global challenge.

The program specifically engages IBCP students, challenging them to question modern consumption habits and find new utility in materials that were previously destined for landfills. By combining India’s rich textile heritage with innovative reuse strategies, the school is preparing a new generation to navigate and solve complex environmental issues through practical, scalable action.

This project is essential because it bridges the gap between India’s rich textile heritage and the urgent need for environmental responsibility. By actively transforming fabric remnants into useful products, the students are gaining the necessary skills to challenge existing consumption models and create positive change within their own communities.

With India generating approximately 7.7 million tonnes of textile waste every year, it is essential that the next generation understands the environmental impact of their consumption habits. Through the Clothes for Conscience initiative, the students are moving beyond traditional classroom learning to gain a firsthand understanding of craftsmanship and the urgent need for circular thinking in daily life.

Remembering Prof. C. R. Rao on His 106th Birth Anniversary: A Statistical Legend of Global Eminence

By Dr. M. Vishnu Vardhana Rao, Vice Chancellor, PHFI IPHS Deemed to be University & ICMR Chair for Medical Statistics

A boy was born into a Telugu-speaking family in Hadagali, in Karnataka’s Bellary district, on September 10, 1920. Who could have imagined that this boy, Calyampudi Radhakrishna Rao (C. R. Rao), would go on to become the “Wizard of Numbers” and eventually transform the world of statistics? His journey from a small town in Karnataka to the highest levels of global science is a remarkable story of intellectual brilliance, perseverance and an enduring commitment to knowledge.

Rao’s academic journey began in Andhra Pradesh, where he studied at Gudur, Nuzvidu and Nandigama. For his higher education, he joined Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, where he graduated in Mathematics and completed his M.A. in Mathematics in 1940 with First Class and First Rank. His association with Andhra University has endured even after his lifetime. The road adjacent to the Department of Statistics on the university campus has been named ‘C. R. Rao Marg’, commemorating one of the university’s most illustrious alumni.

Remembering Prof. C. R. Rao on His 106th Birth Anniversary: A Statistical Legend of Global Eminence

After completing his postgraduate studies at Andhra University, the young Rao arrived at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, in the early 1940s, initially in search of a career. What appeared to be a chance turn in his life would eventually change the course of statistical science. His exceptional mathematical ability and academic brilliance soon attracted the attention of Prof. P. C. Mahalanobis, the founder of ISI and one of the architects of modern statistics in India.

A major turning point came when Rao was invited to work on an anthropological project involving skeletal remains from Jebel Moya in Sudan, under the University of Oxford’s Department of Anthropology. His work on the project contributed to the landmark publication Ancient Inhabitants of Jebel Moya. At the same time, he pursued doctoral research at the University of Cambridge, completing his Ph.D. in 1948.

It was at Cambridge that Rao came into contact with Sir Ronald A. Fisher, one of the founding figures of modern statistics. The intellectual environment at Cambridge, combined with his earlier training at ISI, laid the foundation for a career that would profoundly influence statistical theory and practice.

Rao returned to India in 1948 and resumed his work at ISI. He became Professor and Head of the Research and Training School. He became Director of the Research and Training School in 1963 and, following the death of P. C. Mahalanobis in 1972, became Director and Secretary of the Indian Statistical Institute, serving from 1972 to 1976.

In 1979, another important chapter began when Rao was invited to the University of Pittsburgh to deliver a lecture. The visit led to an academic appointment, and he subsequently played an important role in developing statistical education and research there. He later joined Pennsylvania State University, where he continued his research and mentoring for many years, formally retiring in 2001 at the age of 81.

His academic achievements during this remarkable career were extraordinary. In addition to his Ph.D. and Sc.D. from Cambridge University, he received 27 honorary doctoral degrees from universities in 16 countries. He published around 500 scientific papers, authored or co-authored numerous influential books, and supervised and guided nearly 40 doctoral students.

But numbers alone cannot capture the magnitude of Rao’s contribution.

Prof. C. R. Rao’s name is inseparably associated with some of the most fundamental results in modern statistics. The Cramér–Rao inequality, for example, provides a fundamental lower bound on the variance of unbiased estimators. In simple terms, it tells statisticians how accurately an unknown quantity can be estimated from data. It has become a cornerstone of statistical estimation and has applications extending far beyond traditional statistics.

The Rao–Blackwell theorem provides a powerful way of improving statistical estimators, enabling researchers to obtain more efficient estimates from available information. Combined, these results help scientists more efficiently extract information from data. His contributions did not stop there. Rao made fundamental contributions to multivariate analysis, experimental design, statistical inference, information theory and geometry, influencing disciplines ranging from economics and engineering to genetics, medicine and the social sciences.

One of the most fascinating aspects of Rao’s legacy is the continuing relevance of his early work to the modern world of artificial intelligence and data science. His doctoral work at Cambridge involved discriminant analysis, a statistical method for distinguishing between groups using multiple characteristics. What was once regarded as an important statistical technique has strong conceptual links with what we now call supervised learning in machine learning.

Today, when enormous volumes of data are generated every second, the ability to identify patterns, distinguish groups, estimate uncertainty and extract meaningful information from complex datasets is at the heart of artificial intelligence. Many of the principles underlying these modern technologies have deep roots in the statistical ideas developed by pioneers such as C. R. Rao.

Rao also left an important institutional legacy in Hyderabad through the C. R. Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science (AIMSCS) on the University of Hyderabad campus. A fitting tribute to the departed legend would be to ensure that this Institute continues to nurture world-class statisticians, mathematicians, computer scientists and data scientists, strengthening India’s capabilities in statistics, artificial intelligence and big-data analytics.

Rao’s monumental contributions earned him some of the world’s highest scientific honours. In India, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, one of the country’s highest civilian honours. In 2002, he received the National Medal of Science, the highest scientific honour bestowed by the President of the United States.

Then, at the remarkable age of 102, Rao once again made international headlines. In 2023, he was awarded the International Prize in Statistics, one of the world’s most prestigious honours in statistics and often described as the field’s equivalent of the Nobel Prize.

The recognition was not simply for a lifetime of publications. It was an acknowledgement of the profound influence his ideas have had on science, technology and human understanding.

There is a poignant coincidence in India’s scientific history. On August 23, 2023, the day India scripted history by becoming the first nation to successfully land near the Moon’s south polar region, it bid farewell to one of its brightest mathematical stars.

Calyampudi Radhakrishna Rao, one of India’s greatest mathematicians and statisticians, passed away in the United States in the early hours of August 23, 2023, just over two weeks before his 103rd birthday.

From a small town in Karnataka to the highest echelons of global science, C. R. Rao’s journey is a story of intellectual brilliance, perseverance and vision. His life demonstrates how mathematical thought, when combined with curiosity and discipline, can transcend geographical boundaries and influence generations of scientists across the world.

The “Wizard of Numbers” may have left this world, but the numbers—and the ideas he gave them—continue to speak, inspire, and guide generations of young minds.

Covering approximately 38,941 square meters with a building area of 6,074 square meters, including a 2,300‑square‑meter parts warehouse, the Center integrates brand display, vehicle delivery, after‑sales service, parts supply, and training facilities, delivering all‑around customer support. Built around Yutong as the core, the Center consolidates multi‑dimensional service functions and complements existing local partners and service channels, offering customers more direct, flexible issue resolution and service options.

“The service center is positioned as a comprehensive, centralized service hub, with a large inventory of parts, inspection facilities, professional service bays, and dedicated training equipment,” said Jack Li, CEO of Yutong Central and Northern Europe. “Through efficient operations, we aim to help reduce customers’ total cost of ownership and maximize bus uptime. By strengthening partnerships and expanding service coverage, we aim to deliver cost-effective services and create shared value while helping make public transport greener, smarter, and more inclusive.”

One‑stop service ecosystem: from parts supply to integrated service support across the fleet lifecycle

With the local service center and dedicated on‑ground team, Yutong consolidates parts supply, fault diagnostics, maintenance, and professional training into a single service system, improving service efficiency and delivering full‑lifecycle fleet support for Norwegian passenger transport and bus operators. The Center features a comprehensive reception area, maintenance and repair zone, parts storage area, hands-on training space, vehicle display area, and brand experience zone, offering local customers an integrated service package spanning everything from vehicle sales and delivery to after‑sales repairs, parts supply, and technical training.

The Center features seven standardized maintenance bays, as well as dedicated bays for powertrain and large-component repairs, equipped with four‑post lifts, an electronic laser wheel alignment system, a brake tester, and a heavy‑duty tire balancer. It offers repair capabilities for chassis, electrical and high‑voltage systems, powertrains, air conditioning, and interiors, and can also handle non‑severe accident vehicles, alcohol interlocks, and tachographs.

Built to EU standards, the Center includes a dedicated bus inspection line for Norway’s mandatory PKK annual inspections, featuring a 31.5‑meter pit, two 16‑ton pit jacks, and equipment for brake, lighting, side‑slip, and OBD testing, covering chassis, braking, safety devices, onboard diagnostics, and powertrain compliance. By conducting inspections, fault diagnosis, and safety checks locally, the Center helps customers reduce fleet downtime and lower operating costs.

It also has a 2,300‑square‑meter parts warehouse, covering 4,500 SKUs of Yutong genuine parts for battery, motor and electronic control systems, powertrains, chassis, steering systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, interior and exterior trim, wear parts, and maintenance consumables.

With local stock and regional distribution center replenishment, the Center reduces parts sourcing and repair waiting times, improving vehicle uptime and minimizing fleet downtime losses. All parts are backed by consistent quality and warranty standards, supported by a local engineering team delivering parts supply, diagnostics, and maintenance services.

Building local expertise: service, training, and long‑term fleet support

The Center also includes theoretical training rooms and hands-on training areas, with instruction led by experienced trainers. Equipped with a comprehensive whole-vehicle training platform for pure electric buses and dedicated training units for air conditioning, EBS braking, heaters, battery, motor and electronic control systems, and rear-axle disassembly, the Center supports training in component identification, operating principles, simulation, and fault diagnosis. The training equipment uses core assemblies and components sourced from actual vehicles, enabling customers’ maintenance technicians to apply what they learn directly to real-world repairs.

Through its local team, standardized maintenance and inspection procedures, parts inventory and training capabilities, Yutong continues to deliver on its “EnRoute+” global service commitment. As Yutong’s first comprehensive service center in Europe, the facility further underscores the company’s long-term commitment to serving European customers. Building on the Norway service center, Yutong will continue to advance its localized service approach in markets including the Netherlands, Chile, Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia. These efforts will strengthen local capabilities in electric bus repair, maintenance and inspection, improve service responsiveness, create more high-quality local jobs and support the electrification and low-carbon transition of public transport.
