Suzuki Motorcycle India Achieves Total Sales of 1,25,786 Units, Records 15percent Growth in January 2026

Gurugram, Feb 02: Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan today announced its sales performance for January 2026. 

SMIPL registered total sales of 1,25,786 units in January 2026, marking a 15% growth over the 1,08,921 units sold in January 2025. The company recorded domestic sales of 1,00,296 units, a 14% increase compared to 87,834 units in January 2025. The exports grew 21%, reaching 25,490 units in January 2026, against 21,087 units exported during the same month last year. 

Commenting on the performance, Mr. Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said, “The sales results for January indicate growing demand in both domestic and international markets. This momentum is supported by our ongoing focus on continuous customer engagement, after‑sales service enhancement, and network expansion. We will continue to invest in these areas to ensure that customers receive a seamless and reliable ownership experience throughout the year.” 

Additionally, SMIPL’s spare parts sales recorded revenue of INR 895.6 Million in January 2026 registering a 20% growth over last year. 

Other Highlights

January 2026 marked a landmark month for SMIPL as the company surpassed 10 million units in cumulative production, reaffirming its long-term commitment to the Indian market. Reinforcing its future-ready approach, Suzuki also commenced sales of its first electric scooter, the Suzuki e‑Access. 

The company further strengthened its motorcycle lineup by introducing new colour options for the Suzuki GIXXER SF 250 and GIXXER 250, offering customers refreshed styling choices. 

Continuing its focus on community engagement, SMIPL organised several customer‑centric initiatives during the month. The Suzuki Matsuri in Hyderabad witnessed participation from more than 3,700 riders and customers. The Suzuki Access Mileage Contest in Patna engaged 70 Suzuki Access owners and prospective buyers. Additionally, the GIXXER Pit Stop program, conducted across Mangalore, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Surat, and Kolkata, connected with around 300 GIXXER riders and motorcycle enthusiasts.
