Gurugram, Jan 21: MDI Gurgaon, a leading institution dedicated to responsible leadership and idea-driven learning, hosted TEDx 6.0 – Metanoia: Changing the Lens on January 18 at its campus auditorium in Gurgaon. The event brought together speakers, students, and faculty for a full-day programme of curated talks and conversations. The sessions focused on personal journeys, lived experience, and perspective across disciplines.
Designed as a day of fresh perspectives and reflective conversations, the event was structured into two panels-pre-lunch and post-lunch-creating space for both high-energy storytelling and deeper, idea-led discussion.
A key highlight of TEDxMDIGurgaon 6.0 was its interactive format: every TEDx talk was followed by a Q&A session, allowing students to engage directly with speakers, ask questions, and take the theme beyond the stage into personal meaning.

Speaker’s Lineup:
- Sangeeta Sindhi Bhal – A celebrated Indian mountaineer and entrepreneur, known for summiting Mount Everest at age 53, and recognized as an inspirational voice on resilience and leadership.
- Rinima Borah – An Indian fashion entrepreneur, content creator, and founder of women’s wear brand Miss Momo, using her platform to inspire and share her journey from rural Assam to national recognition.
- Lakshmi Rana – A celebrated Indian supermodel and entrepreneur, featured in leading fashion publications, and founder of Wilderbee Talent Camp, India’s first inclusive fashion training platform.
- Dr. Dheeraj Dogra (MRICS) – A global real estate and retail expert with over 30 years of experience, associated with professional standards in the built environment and honoured with awards including the Bharat Gaurav Award.
- Suparna Sarkar – A certified motorcycle instructor and Founder of STAR Academy, known for championing safe riding, building riding communities, and clocking 3.2 lakh+ kilometers across 17+ states.
The first panel featured Sangeeta Sindhi Bhal & Rinima Borah, exploring discipline, identity, and long-term decision-making. Post lunch, the second panel with Dr Dheeraj Dogra, Lakshmi Rana, and Suparna Sarkar addressed professional credibility, personal agency, road-safety awareness, and representation in real estate, fashion, and motorcycling.
The event concluded with a closing ceremony in the evening, followed by networking among speakers, students, and faculty members. Engagement across sessions reflected strong interest in narratives grounded in experience and practice.
