Jan 09: Brandworks Technologies, India’s fastest-growing design-driven, R&D-led electronics manufacturing powerhouse, marked its entry into the global automotive and electric mobility ecosystem at CES 2026, positioning India’s growing role as a hub for advanced electronics design, engineering and manufacturing.
At CES 2026, Brandworks announced the launch of its automotive and EV solutions, spanning powertrain systems, vehicle electronics, charging solutions and connected mobility platforms. The launch reflects the company’s strategic expansion from consumer and industrial electronics into automotive-grade systems, backed by in-house R&D, system engineering and manufacturing expertise.
The company’s positioning aligns with the broader momentum behind India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem. Over the past decade, multiple players have demonstrated the country’s ability to deliver scale manufacturing. Brandworks aims to build on this foundation by moving higher up the value chain, focusing on design ownership, engineering depth and long-term OEM partnerships.
“Our participation at CES is a statement of intent,” Nikita Kumawat, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Brandworks Technologies said. “India is no longer just a manufacturing base. It is increasingly where complex systems are designed, engineered and industrialised. Brandworks is being built to support that transition.”
Brandworks’ automotive and EV expansion is anchored in three core capabilities: in-house R&D, system-level design and scalable manufacturing. The company works across the full lifecycle, from concept and co-development to validation and production, enabling OEMs to reduce time-to-market while maintaining quality, reliability and cost control.
By focusing on platforms rather than point products, Brandworks aims to address a key challenge facing the mobility industry: the fragmentation between hardware, software, electronics and manufacturing partners. Its integrated approach allows OEMs to work with a single partner across multiple vehicle segments and future technology transitions.
CES 2026 also provided Brandworks an opportunity to engage with global OEMs, technology partners and ecosystem players on collaboration models, localisation strategies and India’s evolving role in the global electronics supply chain. The company highlighted its intent to deepen partnerships, invest further in R&D talent and strengthen India-based design and manufacturing capabilities for global markets.
Looking ahead, Brandworks plans to steadily localise key automotive and EV electronics, reinforce its R&D footprint and scale its manufacturing operations to support both Indian and international customers. The company’s long-term vision is to help establish India as a trusted, innovation-led electronics hub for next-generation mobility.
