Birla Carbon to participate at Expobor International
Rubber Technology Event
Marietta, USA and Sao Paulo, Brazil – June 2022: Birla Carbon, one of the leading producers of sustainable carbon-based solutions globally, will participate in Expobor International Rubber Technology Show 2022 to be held from June 22 – 24, 2022, at Sao Paulo, Brazil. Birla Carbon will present a range of sustainable solutions to customers and visitors, including its recently launched Continua™ Sustainable Carbonaceous Materials (SCM) and other leading Birla Carbon products for the Tire and Mechanical Rubber Goods markets.
Exhibiting at Booth D/E 1/2, the Birla Carbon team will also discuss the business’ sustainability initiatives with a key focus on its goal to reach Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050, which focuses on the 4Rs approach of Research, Reduce, Replace and Repurpose.
With the launch of Continua™ SCM, Birla Carbon has strengthened its drive towards circularity and sustainability at a broader level. It provides customers with solutions for making their sustainable goals a reality in the future.
Birla Carbon will also participate in the 19th edition of the Brazilian Congress of Rubber Technology. The event will be held parallel to Expobor, under the theme of “Shaping the World of Tomorrow”. Dr. Joe Hallett, Technical Lead, Continua™, Birla Carbon, will discuss the benefits of Continua™ SCM in the rubber industry with a presentation on the topic – Circularity at Scale through Sustainable Carbonaceous Materials. The presentation takes place on June 23, 2022, at the event venue.
Birla Carbon will also offer a complete portfolio of high-performance carbon blacks for customers’ application needs.
