Mumbai, Jan 08: At the Rajasthan DigiFest x 10th TiE Global Summit, held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) from January 4–6, a panel titled ‘The Alchemy of Scale: Three Industries, One Growth Mindset’ brought together founders from automobiles and personal care- distinct sectors that revealed a shared blueprint for building enduring Indian businesses.
The TiE Global Summit x DigiFest Rajasthan continues to be a vibrant platform for ideas at the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology and investment. Moderated by Jitendra Kumar Agarwal, Joint Managing Director, Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd, the session featured Amit Jain and Anurag Jain, Co-Founders of CarDekho Group, and Mohit Yadav and Rahul Yadav, Co-Founders of Minimalist- entrepreneurs who began by solving real problems and scaled with patience and purpose.
Despite their different industries, the founders echoed a common belief- scale is not driven by speed alone, but by trust, resilience and deep customer understanding. Whether simplifying car buying for Indian consumers or bringing transparency to skincare, each journey started with listening closely to unmet needs.
Reflecting on CarDekho’s journey, Amit Jain shared that early attempts to pursue too many ideas at once failed, leading to a reset. “Focus, depth and timing matter more than ambition alone,” he said, underscoring how disciplined execution shaped the company’s scale.
Minimalist’s co-founder Mohit Yadav noted, “We didn’t create the market- customers were already far more informed than the industry gave them credit for. Data simply helped us listen better.”
Moderating the discussion, Jitendra Kumar Agarwal drew parallels with India’s power sector, where smart metering is transforming how electricity is consumed and managed. “Technology adoption succeeds only when people understand the ‘why’. Awareness and ground-level engagement matter as much as deployment,” he remarked.
What stood out was the candor- stories of failures, course corrections and lighter moments that revealed the human side of scale. Two very different businesses bound together by one shared thread of clarity, courage in execution and deep trust between founders.
Once known for legacy industries, Rajasthan is fast emerging as a hub of modern entrepreneurship, producing founders who are building national businesses grounded in purpose, innovation and trust.
