Bangalore, India, Nov 25: 5C Network, India’s leading and most deployed AI-driven radiology platform, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German Medical Innovation Co. Ltd (GMIC), a modern medical centre based in Limassol, Cyprus. This partnership marks a significant milestone in 5C Network’s global expansion as it brings its Bionic Suite – India’s most deployed AI-powered radiology solution – to the European market. PwC Cyprus acted as the facilitation agency for this partnership.
The collaboration will focus on deploying and clinically validating Bionic Vision and Bionic Voice, two of 5C’s flagship AI technologies designed to streamline radiology workflows, improve diagnostic accuracy, and reduce turnaround times, and then scale this groundbreaking technology across Europe.
Under the agreement, 5C and German Medical Institute Cyprus will work together on research initiatives, pilot deployments, and clinical validation studies in Cyprus. The partnership will deploy and evaluate Bionic Vision, 5C’s cutting-edge AI suite for medical imaging, which supports detection, triage, and quality control. It will also focus on Bionic Voice, a speech-to-report solution that enables radiologists to generate structured clinical reports faster and with higher precision.
“We are excited to bring our Bionic Suite to Europe with a forward-looking partner like GMIC Cyprus, a strategic leap in our mission to build the world’s first AI-native Radiology Solution and a direct response to a global need,” said Kalyan Sivasailam, CEO and Co-Founder of 5C Network. “As India’s most deployed radiology AI solution, Bionic empowers radiologists with tools that deliver both speed and accuracy. This MoU is more than a partnership; it’s a shared commitment to set a new global standard for patient care, transforming how radiology is practised globally.”
Dr Cleanthis Ioannides, Director of Diagnostic & Interventional Radiology Department, GMIC, commented, “We are excited to bring cutting-edge technology into our radiology practice. Partnering with 5C Network allows us to leapfrog legacy systems and directly integrate proven, scalable AI into the heart of European radiology. This MoU grants us access to India’s most deployed radiology AI suite, a platform battle-tested on millions of cases. For our clinicians, this means unprecedented diagnostic speed and accuracy. For our patients, it means a new standard of care. This is how we build a future-ready healthcare ecosystem.”
The partnership underscores a growing Indo-European collaboration in healthcare innovation and strengthens 5C’s global expansion strategy. This joint initiative aims to improve diagnostic accuracy, reduce turnaround times, and enhance the radiologist’s reporting experience. Pilot projects at GMIC will also provide important clinical evidence to support regulatory pathways such as CE marking (health, safety, and environmental protection standards certification in EU) for use in Europe. GMIC and 5C Network follow General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and CE Marking laws and ensure compliance.
