
Jan 29: UNIQLO, the Japanese global apparel retailer, today announced the opening of its second store in Bengaluru at Phoenix Mall of Asia in March 2026, bringing LifeWear to even more people in South India. Building on the strong customer response to its first store in the city, the new store will be the brand’s 18th store in India, reinforcing UNIQLO’s focus on bringing high-quality, functional everyday clothing to Indian consumers.
“The positive and enthusiastic response we received from customers to our first store in Bengaluru has been beyond our expectations,” said Kenji Inoue, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, UNIQLO India. “As a city shaped by a fast-paced, evolving lifestyle, Bengaluru continues to seek clothing that is simple and functional. With the opening of our second store at Phoenix Mall of Asia, Bengaluru, we look forward to introducing UNIQLO to new customers, and making our clothing more accessible for existing fans – bringing LifeWear to everyone.”
Spanning approximately 17,000 sq feet, the new store is almost double the size of the brand’s previous location and will offer the brand’s full range of LifeWear for men, women and children alike. The facade of the store features a cube sign to reflect the brand’s contemporary nature and maintain a strong visual identity.
Ahead of the launch, the brand is also hosting an experience zone from 12 February – 5 March, 2026 at Phoenix Mall of Asia to engage with customers and provide a preview of the product offerings that the brand will provide at the store.
